2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo Review : MPGomatic
MPGomatic.com puts a six-speed manual 2013 Hyundai Veloster turbo to a grueling 500+ mile test drive. We switched things up a bit with this review, and have included a demo of the Blue Max and Eco-Coach features along with our usual 0-60 MPH and fuel economy testing. It's in HD, as well. :) Big screen and Big MPGs, woo hoo! The Hyundai Veloster turbo is equipped with a turbocharged 16-valve Dual-CVVT 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine producing 201 horsepower and 195 pound feet of torque. The intercooled and gasoline direct-injected (GDI) four banger cranks out more than sixty HP and seventy pound feet of torque over the naturally-aspirated 2012 Veloster we tested earlier this year. A six-speed manual transmission is standard in the Veloster turbo, while a six-speed automatic is optional. 2013 Veloster turbo M/T MSRP: $23,950 Options: Ultimtate Package - $2,500 Carpeted Floor Mats - $95 Michelin Pilot Super Sport 215/40ZR18 Summer Tires - $1,200 Inland Freight and Handling - $775 MSRP including options: $26,520 More MPGomatic ... Test text for search. The Veloster turbo is a powerful reinvention of the Veloster. Along with the bold 3-door design, LED headlight accents and raking contour lines that make both Velosters instantly recognizable, the turbo includes standard 18-inch alloy wheels, round chrome-tipped dual Exhaust, and front fog lights and fascia that frame the special wide-mouthed grille. Calling it a unique combination of power and design is an understatement. What's better than a Veloster turbo? A Veloster turbo in matte gray paint. Get the limited-edition finish for that aftermarket look and cover your Veloster in a shade of paint that's as rare as its unique style. Veloster turbo comes with 18-inch alloy wheels with special chrome inserts. The larger wheels fill out the wheel well and combine with the bodykit to give this car a strong sporty stance. The Veloster turbo further sets itself apart with its wide-mouthed grille and bodykit for a low, aggressive stance. It also features fascia-encased front fog lights and uniquely lit projector-type headlights with LED accents. When it comes to the Exhaust, performance and style work hand-in-hand to provide a distinctive, signature look. The Veloster turbo distinguishes itself with centered round chrome-tipped Exhaust ports. Whenever you head off on another adventure, you'll find yourself leaving the crowd, and an impression, behind. As unique on the inside as it is on the outside. We started with the sport-bike-inspired dash and modern conveniences that make Veloster a standout and we threw in leather seating surfaces with turbo stitching, heated front seats and alloy pedals. Your legs and your friends will appreciate the surprisingly spacious interior and passenger volume. 2013 Veloster 4 Spacious Seats 201 Horse power 35 MPG HWY *201-hp 1.6L GDI DOHC D-CVVT 4-cylinder engine *6-speed manual transmission or optional 6-Speed EcoShift™ Dual Clutch Transmission *18-inch alloy wheels *Bodycolor power heated exterior mirrors *Dual centered chrome-tipped Exhaust outlets *AM/FM/SiriusXM/CD/MP3 audio system with 196-watts and 6 speakers *6-way adjustable driver seat *Armrest storage compartment *Maplights with sunglass holder *Metallic interior accents

Hyundai Veloster hatchback review - CarBuyer
Hyundai Veloster hatchback 2014 review: http://bit.ly/1gbu0Qe Subscribe to the Carbuyer YouTube channel: http://bit.ly/17k4fct Subscribe to Auto Express: http://subscribe.autoexpress.co.uk/cb The Hyundai Veloster is the firm's latest attempt to produce a coupe without compromise, and first impressions prove they are not far off the mark. One highlight is the clever door arrangement, which is similar to a MINI Clubman. It has a single door on one side and a pair of doors on the other to improve access to the back seats. Unlike the Clubman, Hyundai has engineered the door layout for the UK, so the double doors open on to the pavement, not into the road. At the moment there's a single engine choice - a rather weak 138bhp 1.6-litre petrol - but this may be joined by a diesel and a high powered turbo version in the near future. The Veloster's sharp chassis is easily capable of dealing with more power.
