2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo Car Video Review

http://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/veloster/2013/?id=32972 When the Hyundai Veloster was released in 2011 many enthusiasts were excited to see a fantastic looking and affordable sport compact car that would give the other hot hatchbacks in the segment a run for their money. The let down came when the hood was opened to reveal a 138 horsepower 1.6 liter naturally aspirated engine that was more suited for fuel efficiency rather that for performance. Well now you can have your cake with the release of the 2013 Hyundai Veloster turbo! The base price on the turbo model is $21,950. The 2013 Hyundai Veloster turbo is powered by a twin-scroll turbocharged 1.6 liter 4-cylinder engine based on the standard Veloster Gamma GDi engine. The turbo motor has a lower compression ratio at 9.5:1 to handle the added Boost pressure. The gasoline direct injection (GDi) motor also sports Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT). Power output for the turbo engine is 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft. of torque which puts the Veloster turbo right in the middle of the sport compact car pack. The standard transmission is a 6-speed manual but there is also is 6-speed automatic version with paddle shifters. The manual is the more fuel efficient transmission at 26 MPG in the city and 38 MPG on the highway. On the outside the Hyundai Veloster turbo model is distinguishes itself from the regular model in a few ways. For started, the Veloster turbo has a huge wide-mouth front grille opening to let in vast amounts of cool air. There is also a lower lip spoiler on the turbo model. Another cool feature found on the turbo-only model are the LED lights front and back. The front projector headlights sport LED daytime running light accents which are normally reserved for high end luxury vehicles. The wheels on the Hyundai Veloster turbo are 18-inch alloy units that combine both a matte and chrome finish. The limited edition matte gray pain job will set you back an additional $800, but the finished result is well worth it. The standard non-turbo Veloster features squared Exhaust tips while the turbo model has rounded ones. The 2013 Hyundai Veloster turbo can be considered one of the hottest new hatchbacks on the market. Not only does the Veloster turbo have over 200 horsepower, but this car can get up to 38 MPG on the highway. The 2013 Veloster turbo looks great and comes packed with tons of standard features. 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Test Drive & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/genesis-coupe/2013/?id=32972 The 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is back with a newly redesigned look and upgraded engine choices. The Genesis Coupe has always been lumped into the muscle car category with its front engine, rear-wheel drive platform. But the muscle cars have always held a distinct power advantage until now. The base engine for the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a turbocharged 2.0 liter 4-cylinder. Power is up 30% from 210 horsepower up to 274 horsepower. An upgraded dual-scroll turbo, larger Intercooler, and Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing help achieve these better power figures. Fuel economy for the 2.0 liter engine is 21 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway. The other engine choice is a direct-injected 3.8 liter V-6 which produces 348 horsepower. Fuel economy for this engine is expected to be 18 MPG in the city and 28 MPG in the highway. There are two transmission choices available in the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe: an 8-Speed automatic or a 6-speed manual. On the outside the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe retains the same overall shape but the styling has been changed to reflect the rest of the Hyundai line-up. Up front the Genesis receives a more aggressive look thanks to an upgraded hood with two scoops, new front fascia, and larger bumper opening. Out back the Exhaust gasses exit out dual asymmetrical chrome pipes. The lights have been upgraded to include LED daytime running lamps which can be found on high end luxury cars. The R-Spec and Track editions will receive huge 19-inch alloy wheels. On the inside the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe features an available 360-watt Infinity sound system. There are steering wheel controls for the audio system and the usual iPod, USB, and auxiliary ports. A navigation system can be purchased as an option that includes a 7-inch touch screen monitor. The rear seats have been designed with comfort in mind. Instead of stuffing 3 seats in the rear; Hyundai has decided to go with only two. This means there is a ton of room for the rear occupants. When the Hyundai Genesis Coupe arrived on the scene a few years ago it was certainly a respectable car. In fact it was this car and the sedan version that really gave Hyundai a Boost in the automotive world. Now with the 2013 model there is more power! The base model 2.0 liter Hyundai Genesis Coupe starts at $24,250 and the top of the line 3.8 liter with the track package will retail for about $33,000. 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Test Drive & Crossover SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/new-cars/hyundai/santa-fe/?id=32972 The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe is a brand new redesign that makes this the 3rd generation automobile. It's hard to believe that the Santa Fe came out back in 1998. Back then there were not many crossovers on the market yet. Now that practically every automobile manufacturer has a crossover, Hyundai is playing it smart. They have gotten rid of the Veracruz model and then Hyundai has created a long wheel base and a short wheel base Santa Fe. Prices start at $24,450. There are 2 different engine options available on the 2013 Santa Fe Sport. The first is a direct injected 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 190 horsepower and 181 lb-ft. of torque. The second engine is a 2.0 liter turbocharged and gasoline direct injected motor that makes 264 horsepower and 269 lb-ft. of torque. The standard transmission is a 6-speed automatic. Fuel economy is 31 MPG combined for the turbo and 33 MPG combined for the naturally aspirated engine. On the inside the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport has a great 8-inch Navigation as an option. The panoramic sunroof is ultra cool and lets rear passengers enjoy the fresh air and sunlight. The Santa Fe Sport comes standard with many great features like cruise control, power windows and locks, Bluetooth, and steering wheel mounted audio controls to name a few. Safety wise the Santa Fe comes with 7 airbags, stability control, traction control, and anti-lock brakes. These items are all standard on the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Many improvements have been made and maybe the most important is the reduction in weight. The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe weighs 266 lbs. less than the previous model. That weight reduction has a positive effect on fuel economy. The Santa Fe Sport can carry up to 5 people. The rear seat is a 40/20/40 split bench making for a versatile crossover SUV. You can order the Santa Fe in either FWD or AWD configurations. The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is priced right alongside its competition. But with the Santa Fe you get more standard features for your money along with a great 10 year 100k mile warranty. 2013 Lexus GS 450h Test Drive & Luxury Hybrid Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/lexus/gs-450h/2013/?id=32972 The 2013 Lexus GS 450h is a totally redesigned luxury hybrid. This mid-size luxury sedan represents the 4th generation GS model and the 2nd generation GS hybrid model. Many improvements have been made but the most noticeable is the spindle grille which is a common design feature found on other Lexus vehicles including the ES 300h and the RX 450h. Blue Lexus logos indicate that this luxury car has a hybrid power plant underneath the hood. The 201 3 Lexus GS 450h has a base price of $58,950. The hybrid power plant in the Lexus GS 450h is not just about good fuel economy, it is also about power. The engine is a direct injection Atkinson-cycle 3.5 liter V-6 that produces 286 horsepower on its own. When coupled with the electric motor though the total power output is 338 horsepower. This allows the GS 450h to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in only 5.6 seconds which is actually faster than the F SPORT model. Fuel economy is excellent at 29 MPG in the city and 34 MPG on the highway. Only Lexus hybrid models get the benefit of Bamboo accent trim and the interior of the GS 450h looks incredible with its new Bamboo steering wheel, Bamboo dash, and Bamboo center console. Supply leather is used on many surfaces and the seats are wonderful 18-way adjustable units. The center stack has been completely redesigned and the result is a sleek more compact package. The GS 450h has 4 modes including an ECO, Normal, Sport, and Sport Plus. While in ECO mode the gauges show your fuel consumption use, but switch to Sport+ and you can use the paddle shifters to get things moving. The 12.3 inch split monitor controls many systems including navigation, stereo, and climate. A couple of other technological features are the: heads-up display, parking assist, backup camera, and the Mark Levinson sound system. The 2013 Lexus GS 450h gives other mid-size hybrids a run for their money. This car is not only fast, fuel efficient, and luxurious; it is also very exclusive with the Bamboo interior accents. For less than $60k you can get over 30 combined MPG in a hybrid that can accelerate from 0-60 MPH faster than most cars on the road today. 2013 Lexus LX 570 Test Drive & Luxury SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/lexus/lx-570/2013/?id=32972 The 2013 Lexus LX 570 is a full size luxury SUV that seats up to 8 passengers and has Toyota reliability. This all new and totally redesigned LX 570 is back for the 2013 model year featuring a better looking front end along with more luxury and technology. The base price on the 2013 Lexus LX 570 Luxury SUV is $80,930 making it one of the more expensive sport utility vehicles on the market. The 2013 Lexus LX 570 is powered by a 5.7 liter V-8 that can be found in other Toyota vehicles like the Land Cruiser and the Sequoia. This engine has dual Variable Valve Timing and produces 383 horsepower and 403 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is an electronically controlled 6-speed unit with a sequential shift feature. The 2013 Lexus LX 570 manages 12 MPG in the city and 17 MPG on the highway. The LX 570 features full-time 4 wheel-drive with a limited slip differential. This Luxury SUV is based on the Toyota Land Cruiser which has great off-road ability. A couple other standard features include Hill-Start Assist Control, Adaptive Variable Suspension, Active Height Control, and Crawl Control. All these hardcore off-road features may be a bit overkill for a Luxury SUV. The towing capability of the 2013 Lexus LX 570 is 7,000 lbs. On the outside the new Lexus LX 570 gets the same design and styling treatment as many other new Lexus vehicles. The front bumper and grille look similar to the GS series. A set of huge 20-inch alloys are standard on the LX 570. These chrome rims are a must for any luxury SUV. Another feature that is common to high-end luxury vehicles are the LED daytime running lights and the LX 570 has a great looking set. There are other chrome accent pieces located throughout the rest of the exterior. On the inside of the 2013 Lexus LX 570, the passengers are bathed in both luxury and technology. In the luxury department, this full sized SUV sports fine leather and wood trim. The steering wheel has tons of integrated controls. The gauges are quite sexy with electroluminescent blue backlighting. There is a Dual-screen DVD rear entertainment system that's available as an option. The sound system is by Mark Levinson and comes with 19-speakers located throughout the cabin. Lexus offers something called a cool box which is essentially a fridge located in the armrest. Talk about luxury! The 2013 Lexus LX 570 is equipped with everything else you would expect from a high end luxury SUV including: Navigation, power fold rear seating, climate control, Smart Stop technology, a Pre-Collision System, and more. The 2013 Lexus LX 570 is loaded to the hilt with safety, security, and luxury amenities. Beyond that the LX 570 is a very capable off-road SUV. There are very few choices out there if you are looking for an 8 passenger Luxury SUV but the 2013 Lexus LX 570 has all the bases covered.
