This is one feature car you wont want to miss. Plus, interviews with young racers Shanelle Dobson, Scotty Miller and Goof Sherwin, and we went out to Pukekohe with one of the best presented Central Muscle Cars; Glenn Alinghams big block Camaro. competing at Pukekohe last weekend to check out his SS Camaro Muscle car.
Central Muscle Cars: Repairing the 3 CMC cars of Mandy Sinclair, Shane
Johnson and Bruce Kett who all but wrote their cars off in a huge crash at
the Aussie Muscle car Masters. The team from Moselle Panel and Paint
offered to do it for free. This is the result.

Dragway. We check out a Super Sedan Impala, and talk to Tony Christianson
competing in his Altered 355ci,
Drag Race cams: try using racecams on a 250mph top alcohol drag car. If it
looks like this, whats John Neilan feeling at the wheel. Also inside Wayne
Grimmers Top Street Barracuda and Sam Levines Plymouth Duster.

More at http://www.v8.co.nz. At the Muscle Car Masters 2009 from Eastern
Creek, Central Muscle Cars show the Aussies how to put on a show, but it
all ends with carnage and some damaged machinery. The 3 main classes are
Group NC (1965-1972), Group C (from 1973-1984) and Group A (1985-1992) -
all genuine racecars from those eras, driven by Jim Richards, John Bowe,
Glenn Seton and other Aussie legends. There are plenty of pristine muscle
cars to drool over - Holden Commodore, HQ and Torana, Ford Falcon and Mustang, AMC Javelin, Chevy
NZV8TV Ep 2 - muscle cars, Beach Hop, Nostalgia drags - Part 2
Central Muscle Cars:
We hit the Taupo Racetrack with Central Muscle Cars and check out the
awesome Mustang of Greg
Honour. Hes managed to win one series, and come second in another, how will
he go in this semi-final round?
Beach Hop: We also head back to Whangamata to enjoy a slightly slower paced
event, the Beach Hop. Between checking out the cars, the bands and the
girls, we catch up with the paint gurus from House Of Kolor and check out
their latest innovation.
Castrol Edge brought Aussie Drag Racing Legends Victor and Ben Bray over
for Beach Hop, and the Nostalgia Drags. We manage to catch up with them at
both events on this weeks show.
Nostalgia Drags: Victor was super impressed with the Nostalgia Drags - he
and son Ben smoke their '57 Chev up the Meremere strip. Watch Dave Goulds
insane Fiat Topolino attempt to jump the guardrails on every pass, nasty
Norris's nostalgia rail wheels up, Paul Hammond's VG Valiant as well as a
great mix of other cars and people from the event.
NZV8TV Episode 1 - Pontiac GTO, Plymouth Cuda, Beach Hop and more - part 1
We send our roving reporter down to check out the biggest nostalgia
festival in the Southern Hemisphere: Beach Hop. The cars, the people, the

NZV8TV Ep8 - Trans Am Jaguar XKR, V8 Merc, Chev Camaro, House of Kolor - part 1
More at http://www.v8.co.nz
On Track: Kevin Boveys Trans Am spec Jaguar XKR GT1 car, as seen in NZV8
Issue 41. Kevin built the car from the ground up, and although we arent
usually too fond of Euros the car has to be seen to be believed.
Speaking of Euros, we found a V8 powered Mercedes doing laps with the
Production Muscle Cars class at Pukekohe.
Its low, loud, tubbed and blown its Tony Etheridges Camaro. The word extreme doesnt
really describe this car. Without doubt the Camaro is one of the wildest
street cars the country has ever seen.
Kandy My Car: The founder of House Of Kolor paint is on his way to NZ and
while he's here he's going to custom paint a car.
NZV8TV Ep3 - Nostalgia Drags, Central Muscle Cars, Willy White, doorslammers - Part 1
Central Muscle Cars
We head back to Taupo Motorsport Park and catch up with three of the
leading Central Muscle Car drivers; Paul Urqhart, Shane Wigston and series
founder Steve Hildred.
New Zealand's fastest ever drag racer talks to us about the ins and outs of
running a nitro funny car. With a best pass of 5.47 @ 264mph, Willy
certainly isnt afraid of showing the rest of the nation how things are
Taylor and Taylor
Speaking of drag racing, this years Top Doorslammer Champion Ross Taylor
along with son Jason run us through the details of another one of their
cars. Although its another 57 Chev, its certainly not as quick as the
Taylor And Taylor car we all know and love.
While down at the Nostalgia Drags we spied a car that certainly doesnt look
like it should be on a drag strip; Neil Surtezs awesome rat rod. This
Cadillac flathead powered machine sits its belly on the floor and lifts all
four wheels off the ground, making it one serious crowd pleaser.
Each year at the Nostalgias a bunch of Aussies are bought over for the
locals to go head to head against. We catch up with local drag racer Paul
Pins Satler and Aussie John Fleming to watch an epic battle of nostalgia
styled front engine dragsters.
