1962 Pontiac Catalina Two Door Hardtop Blu NSmyr020913
Beautiful in every detail! Looks like it might indeed be a Bobcat edition. Royal Pontiac did some beautiful mods, especially to GTO's back in the day. A straightforward speed merchant...simply elegant and powerful!

I'm very sorry, the yard with all the Mopars is Harry Hall's place in Scituate, RI on Plainfield Pike (Rt. 14) The staff at this yard is quite friendly and will let you poke around as long as you sign in. The other one in the woods is the yard with about 20.000 cars. 60 Weaver Hill Road West Greenwich, RI 02817 If you want to know more about this yard, read this thread http://www.google.de/imgres?imgurl=http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/ima ges/12/2008/12/custom_1228491046304_DSCF2990.jpg&imgrefurl=http://jalopnik. com/5102534/massive-secret-Mustang-junkyard-found-in-rhode-islan d-forest&usg=__-aVowDsL_lZ88-3jIfsWvXxlfCI=&h=603&w=804&sz=173&hl=de&start= 25&sig2=tQUPsyC-oWrkP4XyqY9MiA&zoom=1&tbnid=zEpUHUOcig5QxM:&tbnh=161&tbnw=2 42&ei=CeZ8TuePMIjf4QS_tLy6Dg&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dvintage%2Bcar%2Bjunkyard%26 hl%3Dde%26gbv%3D2%26biw%3D1280%26bih%3D921%26tbm%3Disch&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx= 980&vpy=613&dur=970&hovh=194&hovw=259&tx=154&ty=131&page=2&ndsp=17&ved=1t:4 29,r:3,s:25 or just ask me. 1961 Pontiac Catalina Convertible..tri-power
This is my Thanksgiving present to you! What a beautiful car...and a sleeper too if you just assume it's a "normal" Catalina! This is a tri-power motor, and it has a 4 speed manual transmission too! If we had only known at the time what a keeper this is...they would have had to make a lot more of these! I love those 8 lug wheels...Pontiac was ahead of the curve in supplying beautiful wheels for their cars!

PONTIAC Catalina (1962 SD421cid dual quad)
These rare cars ran mid 12s from the factory on lousy tires of the day, and with supertuning would hit 11s. With 0 to 60mph in around 5s from not getting all the power to the ground thru the tires, these engines had a lot of top-end acceleration to come back at the end of the track and achieve 11s/12s

1962 Pontiac Grand Prix Classic Muscle Car for Sale in MI Vanguard Motor Sales
http://www.ClassicCarBuyingSecrets.com Click now for an instant download on "How to Avoid the 7 Deadliest Mistakes of Buying a Classic Car Online"! The 1962 Pontiac Grand Prix was one of the first in a long line of GM's "Personal Luxury" cars. Pontiac's answer to the Ford Thunderbird, slotted as a luxury, performance, mid-size car, between the larger Bonneville and the smaller Tempest in the Pontiac lineup. The 1962 Grand Prix was the 1st of the B-body based 1st Generation (1962-1968). The GP was introduced as a lone hardtop model, based on the Catalina platform but available with bigger engines and many more options. The new Grand Prix was at the top of the line and sported a clean style exterior with a sporty and luxurious interior that featured Morrokide-covered bucket seats, a console, floor shift, tachometer, and rear speaker. The classic split-nose featured a fine-mesh grille design, topped with the classic checkered flag badge. The Grand Prix was available with either three or four speed manual transmission in addition to the floor-shift automatic. Overall though, this pre-muscle car was about subtle power, and a rolling, understated class, which it had in spades. Vanguard Motor Sales is proud and excited to present this extensively restored 1962 Pontiac Grand Prix. You would spend over $60,000 to do this car from scratch. The laser straight, rust-free body is painted stunning Raspberry Pearl. All of the chrome and stainless trim shines like new. The door lips, trunk jamb and all of the margins are beautiful. Take a look at the undercarriage, and you will find the same Raspberry Pearl paint. The trunk is finished in the same high quality paint, with a fresh mat and a spare. Even the trunk light works. This car has been extremely well cared for and it shows. Take a peek under the hood and you will find the V8 motor. We are not sure if it is a 421 or a 389, as they have the same block ID, but she purrs like a kitten either way. You will also notice how well detailed the engine bay is, and that the fender walls look amazing painted black. The automatic transmission shifts on a dime, and the power steering and power drum brakes keep this GP between the lines. To top off the killer looks of this car, chrome American Racing wheels sit at all four corners (17" front, and 20" rear). Check out this custom interior! The seats, carpet and headliner are new. There are seatbelts for four. Everything works in this car, including the AM/FM cassette radio, remote mirror, heat and gauges. The center console with floor shifter and mounted tachometer is in perfect working condition. This is a comfortable cruiser that turns heads where ever she goes. This is one beautifully restored show stopping Grand Prix. You don't see these everyday. This is a Pontiac that you can take to the local show or cruise with pride. Don't wait, call us today! This Raspberry Pearl Pontiac won't last long! 248-974-9513 www.vanguardmotorsales.com
