Nathan Wratislaw 406 544 6919 From Wikipedia The Mitsubishi Galant Λ (Lambda) is a two-door hardtop coupé built by Mitsubishi Motors from 1976 to 1984. From 1978 it was exported under various names; as the Mitsubishi Sapporo in Europe and South America (named for the Japanese city of Sapporo, Hokkaido), the Dodge Challenger and Plymouth Sapporo in North America and Puerto Rico, and the Chrysler Scorpion and later the Mitsubishi Scorpion in Australia. It was also sold as a Sapporo in the United Kingdom under the Colt brand. Introduced in Japan in December 1976, the Lambda was described not as a coupé but a "personal luxury car", as Mitsubishi already had the Lancer-based Celeste coupé in its line-up. The car was marketed in North America as a captive import of the Dodge and Plymouth divisions of Chrysler; the cars differed only in minor details such as taillights, interior trim and available colors. Despite being mechanically identical, the Dodge was positioned to appeal to the performance market while the Plymouth was targeted at the luxury market. Although the car received generally positive reviews, it was not overly successful in the United States. The discontinuance of the Sapporo after the 1983 model year helped make way for the products of the newly formed Chrysler-Mitsubishi joint-venture, Diamond Star Motors, as well as the entrance of Mitsubishi into the American market under its own name. In Australia the car was imported from Japan as a flagship model to Chrysler Australia's highly successful Sigma range.

Update - 1987 Pontiac Trans Am Project
Be sure to check us out on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/RamblinAroundTV I just thought I'd show you the progress that we've made on the 1987 Trans Am project. Jordan spent hours buffing the paint out with rubbing compound and then wax. It definitely looks a whole lot better already. He also put a quick coat of paint on the spoiler and touched up some of the silver on the nose. We changed the oil and filter, put in some fresh gas, and it seems to be running really well. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for watching!

1987 PONTIAC TRANS AM GTA -- A VERY SPECIAL TRANS AM
Presented here is a rare and unique edition of a Trans Am. The Trans Am GTA. The Firebird body remained basically unchanged. All center, high-mounted stop lamps were relocated to a new position between the spoiler and the rear deck lid, and the large Firebird hood emblem disappeared forever. All V8's now received factory roller camshafts, and faced with consumer demands for more power, GM officially released the new 5.7L with tuned port fuel injection. Available only with an automatic transmission, it produced 210 hp and takes the top performance seat from the 5.0L L69 production is stopped, leaving the LG4 as the only remaining carbureted V8 used in the F-body. Trans Am GTA, Gran Turismo Americano, was introduced, available with the LB9 305 TPI engine, which was returned to 215 hp., or the L98 350 TPI. Gold 16-inch, flat-mesh, diamond-spoke wheels were standard on GTA, with 16-inch, 20-slot wheels standard on Trans Am. The Trans Am GTA was Pontiac's pride and joy with a standard 5.7L 350 Tuned Port Injection (TPI). Many people like to say, incorrectly, that the engine itself was pulled directly out of the C4 Corvette, which itself began using the engine in 1985, but the heads on the Corvette were aluminum whereas the Firebird heads were cast Iron. The GTA came with a standard TH-700R4 automatic transmission, A/C, new seats with inflatable lumbar and side bolsters, special door panels, epoxy-filled emblems, body-colored ground effects, a special GTA horn button, and the legendary WS6 performance handling package. All of these options were packaged into the Trans Am under the RPO code Y84, and the model was produced until the end of Third Generation F-body production in 1992. Every thing about this GTA is spectacular. The paint color, the muscle engine that's "clean as a whistle", the sporty interior, T-Tops, gold colored wheels, and hatch revealing plenty of storage. This GTA cost around $14,104 new, has a 101 inches wheelbase and weighs 3,435 lbs. U.S. production of GTA's is 9,481 and Canadian figures show 1,509 units. Thanks very much for viewing this rare and very special 1987 Pontiac Trans Am GTA. Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA 1987-1992 Nose Emblem

1977 Pontiac Trans Am SE FOR SALE by RAMC
Pontiac 400 with over 450+ HP, 4 wheel disc brakes, Billet 18" snowflake wheels.  Documented Y82 Special Edition Trans Am, Smokey and the Bandit! 402-465-5756 http://www.restoreamusclecar.com/vehicles/view_details?fdid=2034402 Car #523

134626 / 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am SE
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/6tqgg3u This fully sorted 1977 Trans Am Special Edition is a documented, numbers matching Y82 Special Edition that features Pontiac's highly desirable W72 400 engine, a 4-speed transmission and, best of all, a fresh frame-off restoration. Assembled at GM's famous Norwood manufacturing facility in April of 1977 as one of only 2,699 Y82 Special Editions, this pristine black and gold Trans Am was shipped right up Interstate 71 to Haydocy Pontiac in Columbus, Ohio where it began a 35 year existence filled with immaculate maintenance and impeccable care. Today, after a highly detailed frame-off restoration, it presents as practically brand new and displays a spectacular coat of GM code 19 Starlight Black paint on top of smooth and solid body panels which are as straight and as the day they left the showroom floor. On top of those cool black panels, a fresh set of Special Edition exclusive full outlining stripes complement an awesome Special Edition exclusive gold and matte gold trimmed 'screaming chicken' hood decal which is one of the most iconic automotive brandings in history. Pop the black and gold hood and you'll find this Trans Ams all original 6.6 liter W72 V8 which wears a correct 500557 casting number and a correct 27N191886 partial VIN. At 400 cubic inches, the Pontiac 6.6 litre was already the largest engine you could buy in 1977; and by utilizing smaller "6X" heads and a revised camshaft, it created bigger compression and successfully reversed almost a decade of declining horsepower numbers. At the top of the motor, a correct Rochester 4-barrel carburetor sucks air through the cars awesome shaker scoop. Below that carburetor, original GM corporate blue paint coats the entire block; and original Exhaust manifolds send spent gases into a high performance factory Exhaust system. All the hard parts around the motor, from the belt driven accessories to the brake Booster and optional air conditioning hanging on the fire wall are factory correct. And as expected tags, markings and stamps are just where they should be from the date coded core support to the cars freshly cleaned cowl tag. At the bottom of this slick F-body, solid floorpans tell the story of years of excellent maintenance, and a fresh rebuilt suspension tells the story of an excellent restoration. Behind the motor, an original Borg Warner T10 4-speed transmission, which wears a correct 1304065903 casting number and a correct 27N191866 partial VIN, sends power to an original 10 bolt rear end which has been restored to factory specifications. Below that stellar powertrain, a rebuilt Trans Am suspension, which includes power steering, thicker sway bars, better shocks and stiffer springs combines with standard issue power front disc brakes and rear drums to provide quick stops and great handling. And at the corners of the car, restored aluminum Pontiac snow flake wheels spin Special Edition exclusive gold paint around 'red bird' center caps and correct GR70-15 Goodyear Steelgard white letter tires. Open this Trans Am's massive black doors and you'll find a fully restored optional velour interior that wraps Special Edition exclusive gold trim in a whole lot of old school style! The cars rebuilt seats are firm, crisp and look every bit as nice and rich as their velour name implies. Below those seats, like-new black carpet, which is carefully protected by factory replacement floor mats, displays no fading or unraveling; and between the seats, a silver trimmed console props buttons for the cars power windows behind a chrome Hurst shifter. At the top of the car, a stain-free headliner is stretched tight around the cars Hurst T-tops. At the sides of the car, pitch black door panels hang pristine pull straps and new chrome door handles below Special Edition exclusive gold badging. And in front of the driver, an excellent looking engine turned gold dash houses crystal clear gauges, controls for heat and air conditioning, and the cars original Delco-GM AM/FM stereo behind a correct gold Formula steering wheel and optional tilt steering column. If you're in the market for a kick ass Trans Am that is the quintessential late 70s American muscle car; here it is. Grab it fast and thank us in ten years as you watch its value climb! Call, click or visit http://RKMotorsCharlotte.com for more information on this awesome car!
