1971 Dodge Dart 4 speed
I stand corrected as it's a '71 and not a '70. Brakelights and placement of the Swinger emblems are about the only things jumping out as different. I'm sure there's more...I love my Mopars even though I own three Mercury Comets. The story behind this car breaks my heart but there's a lot of that happening in this 'economy.' Thanks to a socialist prez. Anyway, the owner of this car got a good deal but probably broke a grown man's heart in the process - it wasn't even what the guy was looking for. It's for sale again-I think he was asking $10k. I have no idea how to contact him so I'm sorry. Car is out of WV in the Hagerstown area - it's all I know. 340 engine looked very fresh and the owner, a Chevy guy, said it was fast enough for him. I'm not surprised - a 340 in a3200 lbs car, if that, is going to be very fast.

68 Dart 340 4 Speed Run
My 1968 Dart after I transformed it from a slant 6 auto to a car with a 1968 340 that I built myself, 4 speed manual trans., and an 8.75, with 3:91 ratio limited slip diff. In the beginning, the first car you see pass by is a COP! I waited a few seconds for him to get down the road a ways before I took off. Sorry about the poor sound quality from the camera.

With a jumping bass and off-beat syncopation, this is straight from Memphis' Beale Street. The Hammond organ and electric guitar play together as longtime friends, while the melody changes hands from guitar to organ to electric piano. 011

1968 HEMI Dart Super Stock - Real Car
Real Super Stock 1968 Dodge Dart with 426 Race Hemi and open headers. Heading up to get the Tom Karay Memorial Award at the 23rd Annual Muscle Car Classic Car Show 8/02/09. This car was absolutely perfect in every detail. A true pleasure to view and hear. Copyright 2009 minnesota-muscle.com
1968 Super Stock Hemi Dart from Hurst First Drive
The first drive of Troy's 1968 Super Stock Hemi Dart recreation. This car is a recreation of how racers originally recieved the cars from Hurst Corporation. Skinny tires, primer paint, transistorized ignition, heater delete, outside mirror delete, rear seat delete, no seam sealer, no sound deadener, no undercoating, and many many other tricks!
The rolling burnout in this video was truely not done on purpose. Just bliping the throttle with those skinny bia plys will that!
It's a correct looking 472 Hemi with the new TTI Hemi A-body headers. No need to have expensive custom header made for your car anymore! The rest of the Exhaust is straight back to glasspacks as delivered by Hurst. This was THE car TTI used to prototype and create the jigs for A-body Hemi Headers. This car has a 1968 idler, pitman, centerlink, with manual brakes. Motor is positioned as called out in the TTI instructions.
Troy did extensive research and work to complete this project that took under 2 years to complete. Final paint application, engine machining, and seat covers, where the only 3 items he did not do in his 2 car garage!
