YOKOHAMA, Japan (November 19, 2013) - Records fall and dreams come true
with the debut of the Nissan GT-R Nismo. This race-oriented model delivers
"factory tuned" supercar dynamics with revolutionary enhanced aerodynamics
and ultra-precise handling. The Nissan GT-R is already established as one
of the best performing supercars in the automotive sphere, and now Nissan
has drawn on decades of racing experience gathered by Nismo, the brand's
motorsport specialists, to develop the ultimate Nissan GT-R.
The Nissan GT-R Nismo features exclusive styling that embraces the
longstanding racing philosophy of form following function. It has numerous
motorsports-inspired technologies to enhance the car's performance through
optimised aerodynamics, suspension and powertrain, creating a well-balanced
machine that is at home on both the road and track.
The Nissan GT-R Nismo will be available in Japan in late February 2014,
U.S. and Europe later in 2014.
Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn says this is the fastest Nissan GT-R ever. "With a
7:08.679 lap time, we can authoritatively say that the Nissan GT-R Nismo*
holds the volume production car lap record at the Nürburgring
Nordschliefe, which is the gold standard of high performance achievement."

1. Mechanical Features
Nissan GT-R Nismo employs innovation, uncompromising engineering and
motorsports-inspired technologies to achieve new levels of power, speed and

rated at 600hp (441kw) and 481 lb ft (652 Nm) of torque.

and rear suspension are specially tuned to deliver exceptional grip levels

be selected: Comfort, Normal and R, for circuit applications.

-Specially-developed links fitted to the front double wishbone suspension
increase castor trail to optimise wheel position during high-G cornering
and improve straight-line and cornering stability. Additionally, large
high-rigidity bolts are used to increase stiffness of the wheel-hub
-To minimize body-roll during cornering and changes of direction, the
Nissan GT-R Nismo features a 17.3 mm hollow rear anti-roll bar which raises
roll stiffness while reducing weight.
-Increased rigidity in the bodyshell is achieved using adhesive bonding in
addition to spot welding leading to precise suspension response under
extreme load, the Nismo "factory tuned" enhancement.
2. Exterior design - Exclusive styling with improved aerodynamics
-Using the latest Computational Fluid Dynamic simulation techniques to
analyse airflow, Nismo has developed an aero package that improves
road-holding, minimises the negative impact of drag, while giving the car a
menacing and muscular appearance.
-Together, the front bumper, engine undercover strake and carbon rear
spoiler increase downforce, lowering the centre of gravity and generating
an additional 100kg (at 300km/h) compared to the freshly updated 2014 GT-R
model. The car's aerodynamic characteristics are tuned to ensure the
downforce is equally spread front to rear at all speeds for progressive
handling characteristics. A widened front bumper configuration and
elongated yet tapered rear bumper design keep the drag to Cd 0.26, the same
as that of 2014 Nissan GT-R.
-The Nissan GT-R Nismo will be available in five body colors: Brilliant
White Pearl, Meteor Flake Pearl Black, Ultimate Metallic Silver and Vibrant
Red. And unique to the GT-R Nismo model, a Dark Matte Grey accentuates the
car's imposing exterior muscularity.
-The GT-R Nismo's black 6-spoke wheels are inspired by Nissan's legendary
GT500 race car.

2014 Nissan Juke NISMO (200hp) - DRIVE & SOUND (1080p FULL HD)
The full Country Road and Autobahn Drive with the 2013/2014 Nissan Juke
Nismo with its 1.6 turbo (200hp; 250Nm)
FWD and 6-speed manual transmission. You can argue about the styling of the
regular Juke but I think this NISMO model doesn't look to bad. Everything
else, as engine, suspension and steering is very good, so the engineers at
Nissan knew what to do to give this car a sporty feel. Two things to
describe how this car feels are "lightness" and "pulltrhough". Since this
FWD version only weighs 1.300 kg and gear ratio is short you can really
irritate some much more potent cars on the Autobahn. In everything to 160
km/h this car is really quick, almost Mini-like. The interior quality is a
improvement to the "standard" Juke as well, since many parts are wrapped in
alcantara, which does feel good. I am looking forward to hear your COMMENTS

With a comprehensive makeover that includes enough suspension modifications
to make the Z a veritable track-day weapon, the NISMO Z is much more than a
simple wheel and badge package that automakers often try to pass off as a
limited edition. This NISMO is number 879, identified by a special aluminum
plaque on the console, and unless you've got your SCCA competition license,
I'm guessing that this car has higher limits than you do.
Externally, the NISMO refines the 350Z's shape, which was already cutting
edge and contemporary. A new chin spoiler with a larger grille opening,
different side skirts, and a revised rear valence help improve the NISMO's
aerodynamic efficiency, while a more aggressive rear wing actually
functions as it should by plastering the Z's rear wheels to the pavement.
Finished in Magnetic Black Pearl, the car is low, wide, and sinister, with
a stance that looks like it would prefer to hunt rather than be on display.
However, this car is certainly ready for display, having been beautifully
maintained for the past several years by a very enthusiastic owner who has
kept the finish buffed and unmarked.
The Z's 3.5 liter V6 still lives under the hood, delivering a stout 306 horsepower and 268
pounds of torque. Nissan's goal wasn't to create a drag strip terror, but
to develop a chassis that can fully exploit the power that's already there.
As a result, it's a durable, reliable dance partner that isn't so high
strung that you need to worry about hurting it at the track or after an
afternoon of spirited driving. Taking a peek under the hood and you'll find
a NISMO intake system that uses dual conical air filter elements and
special tubing to create that unique intake woosh. It's obvious that this
car has never been used in inclement weather, and definitely not in the
winter—bright plated parts remain shiny, the plastic is undamaged by heat
or wear, and there's absolutely no evidence of leakage or damage anywhere.
The engine is backed by Nissan's slick-shifting 6-speed manual, whose
well-chosen ratios make the most of the V6's broad power curve. But the
real magic of the NISMO is in the suspension, which uses upgraded shocks,
springs, and sway bars to plaster the car to the pavement without a big
ride comfort penalty. Unique body dampers are designed to reduce vibrations
and harshness, while a handful of chassis braces stiffen the body shell for
track duty. Massive Brembo disc brakes are fitted at all four corners.
Finally, the defining feature of the NISMO is the special forged wheels
with that unique charcoal gray finish and a red and white NISMO logo on the
spokes. Sizing is 18s up front and 19s in back wearing Bridgestone Potenza
There are big upgrades inside as well, most notably those special red and
black sport seats with custom red stitching. Highly adjustable, the seats
are built for track use and are exceptionally grippy. Showing minimal wear,
the interior is as nicely preserved as the exterior, with excellent carpets
and door panels that are like new. Special white and gray NISMO-badged
gauges are nestled into the Z's dash, and the trio of auxiliary gauges atop
the dash are a nice reminder that this car has DNA from the legendary 240Z
running through its veins. That special aluminum number plate I mentioned
earlier is fitted to the console just behind the shifter with its
distinctive red stripe boot, while all the Z's standard features, from A/C
and cruise control, to a powerful stereo and power windows are included.
If you've found the standard Z to be a little too soft, perhaps too much of
a compromise, the NISMO is for you. With expert maintenance and care since
it was new, this NISMO is like a new car in every way. Call today!
