2013 Mustang GT with stock and then GT500 mufflers
First you can hear the stock 2013 Mustang GT mufflers at idle and
drive-bys and then the GT500 mufflers. The GT500 mufflers here are brand
new and will get louder after 500-600 miles as the packing ages. Too bad
but it was windy when I shot the GT500 sounds so that diluted the sound
somewhat. But you should hear that the GT500s are louder than stock but not
as loud as Roush.
2014 Mustang GT 5.0 Roush Exhaust
Installed the Roush axleback Exhaust
on my GT, love the sound! I've gotten nothing but compliments on them. They
sound even better in person.
Installation was pretty easy, did it by myself under jack and stands on my
garage floor in about 2 hours. Had a little trouble getting the stock
mufflers out of the hangars, but once they were off these went on
perfectly. Getting the tips just right and looking the same took a little
2013 Mustang GT 5.0 Borla S-Type Axle-Back
This is my new 2013 GT with the Borla S-Type axle-back (still has
resonators and stock mid-pipe). Video shot on a Nikon D7000. The video is a
little long, sorry! But I will upload another video of just what the
Borla's sound like soon!
INSANE Exhaust Change on a 2014 Mustang GT
Added Borla S-Type Axlebacks and a Ford Racing H-pipe with Side Exhaust (same one on the Boss 302). LOVE the
sound, and couldn't be happier. Screams when you push the throttle hard.
Borla S-type Axlebacks:
Cost of Install: $40
OEM Ford Racing H-pipe w/ Side Exhaust:
Cost of install: $60
2014 Mustang GT Stock Exhaust to Flowmaster Outlaw Axle Back
Installed the Flowmaster "Outlaw" axle back Exhaust on my 2014 Mustang GT. This video is the before
and after comparison. I personally, love the sound, puts a big grin on my
face every time I row through the gears. Best sound is at wide open
throttle between 3K and 5K. They are very loud, and for you "drone" fearing
types, they do have some at 65-75 mph, not bad under that. It does get you
noticed running around town!
The installation article I wrote for this muffler swap is here: http://v6Mustangperformance.com/modifications/

I know, that's a V6 website but my last car was a 2012 V6 and I'm a
moderator there and friends with the site owner. And I think the V8
restriction is going to be lifted there soon.
One other thing to note, on the stock Exhaust part of the video, quite a bit of the
sound you hear when the car is running at wide open throttle is coming from
the Induction Sound Tube, as I have removed the baffle from the firewall
end of the tube. Sounds pretty good that way but is so much meaner with the
Outlaws blasting away. The sound from the sound tube is only heard inside
the car, the sound from the Outlaws is heard by everyone!
2013 Mustang GT Stock vs. Flowmaster Outlaws
This is my new 2013 Gotta Have It Green 5.0. I picked it up 6/30/12 and
just a few days after i installed these Flowmaster Outlaw Series Axleback
Mufflers. I think it sounds amazing with this Exhaust. Let me know what you think!
