Rebuilding the Ford 351 Windsor Part 1 - XW Falcon
The engine came in bits and is re-assembled to short motor stage. This was
originally to be used in a Mustang project, but was shelved in
favour of a Dart small block. So I grabbed it for the Falcon. We don't have
an engine reconditioning room, but all is going well.

How to Install an Edelbrock Carburator on Chevy 350 Engine by Howstuffinmycarworks
In this video Chris explains how to install a 750 cfm Edelbrock carburetor
on a Chevy 350 Engine. This particular engine sits in a Chevy S-10 Pick-up.
The Engine has 11 1/2 Compression ratio and it produces 450 horsepower at the wheels, it
has a long duration and high lift camshaft profile that makes it very fuel
thirsty. A 750 cfm carb is perfect for this engine straight out of the box
without needing any modifications.
We normally run 110 octane race fuel on this Engine when we drive it
locally or at the race track.
When we take it on long trips and we don't want to deal with the hassle of
transporting fuel we retard the timing 5 degrees and we run 95 octane pump
gas, to avoid blowing the Engine up we keep the RPM's at 6,000 when
running the truck on 95 octane pump gas.
