Trans Am reincarnated - The Lingenfelter TA
The Lingenfelter TA concept car was built from a 2010 Camaro SS and is powered by a LS based 455 CID engine that produces 655 horsepower & 610 lbs ft of torque. Lingenfelter's custom TA was built around the classic 71 Trans Am interior & exterior theme. The TA features a classic shaker hood, new front fascia, revised front and rear quarter panels, functional front fender vents and rear spoiler. To finish off the exterior the LTA has new lighting front and rear, blue stripping, badging, custom honeycomb 20" wheels, Nitto tires & Corsa Exhaust. The interior enhancements include custom seats, console, door panels, carpets and a 70's style metal-turned instrument panel. Final Dyno session putting down around 409hp to the ground and 630hp to the flywheel, with Exhaust cutouts closed. With them open, it gains another 10-15hp. 1976 Trans Am, 467ci engine, '71 #197 455 H.O. cylinder heads, Nunzi firstname.lastname@example.org hydraulic flat-tappet camshaft, Torker 2 intake manifold, and Holley 950 HP carburetor. Exhaust system consists of custom-fabricated tri-y style headers by Tom Hand, 3-inch Dr. Gas x-type crossover, 2.5-inch Pypes crossflow tubing, custom stainless-steel muffler designed by Tom Hand and built by Waldon Exhaust, Pypes stainless-steel splitters.
