2JZGTE Datsun 240z Dragstrip pass
Here's a video of my 9 second 2JZGTE powered 71 Datsun 240z turbo making a 9.22 pass at Orlando Speed World Dragway. The car is street driven and driven back and forth to the track ~ 25 minutes each way.

2jzgte 240z: The Beginning
just a short compilation of photos throughout the beginning stages of my project. Basically from the time I bought it and pulled it out of storage, pulled the engine, painted and replaced front and rear suspension components, cut out and replaced the frame rails, installed custom engine crossmember, then dropped the engine in. Next video should have a running engine, new wiring and fuse panel, driveshaft, gauges, polished intake and possibly a single turbo by then.

Had to shut down at the end due to a slow leak from the turbo oil return. Was also running straight out of the 4 inch dump.

1971 Datsun 240Z with Toyota 2JZ Single Turbo engine tuned by Fine Line Imports or FLI
This customer's car is a unique one, 1972 Datsun 240Z with a built Toyota 2JZ engine running a large single turbo. The brain of the operation is an AEM Series 2 stand alone ECU which FLI provided a custom tune for. On 91 Octane and 17 PSI max, this very light car put down 399 WHP with a broad power range. FLI was able to get the turbo to spool up with minimal lag, given the size. FLI and the customer wanted the most amount of torque at the lowest RPM and the highest amount of horsepower at the highest RPM (FLI's tuning rule of thumb) while attaining a safe streetable, lasting engine. We believe we achieved it with this tune / power upgrades.
