LED Headlights: Are they Better than Halogens?
Previous Video ▶︎ https://youtu.be/qqt-GbmPdd8 ______________________________________________________________ In this video, I get my hands on some LED headlights bulbs from Auxbeam. I go over the differences between them, along with showing you the difference in light output, along with colour temperature. These LED’s were installed in a set of projector lenses for my low beams, and in a reflector housing for my fog lights. They were a huge upgrade compared to the regular halogen bulbs. The light output is better, driving at night time will be safer, and they look a lot nicer than the traditional yellow bulbs. *NOTE* When installing the lights in your headlight housing, if the light coming out from the headlights does not have a nice cutoff, you should not drive with them on the roads as you will blind on-coming drivers as the headlights will scatter the light, as opposed to direct it onto the road. HELLA Matrix LED System
The Matrix LED System allows the driver to travel in his vehicle with a permanent high beam without risk of dazzling oncoming traffic or any preceding vehicles. Technically speaking, this function is achieved using LEDs with individual electronic control, which are turned up or dimmed down as required. Using the Matrix technology now makes it possible to open several tunnels at the same time. While these are "hidden", the high beam continues to illuminate all the areas between the vehicles and to the left and right of them at full power.
