This is a video of my 2003 Harley STFI with Vance and Hines pipes vs my 2007 Victory Kingpin with Santa Rosa pipes. Handling goes to the Victory - ( Power : Victory ) -( Comfort : Victory ) - (Sound: Harley) - (Reliability: Victory)-(Acceleration:Victory)-(Suspension:Victory)- (Throttle Response : Victory)- (Balance: Victory) . The Victory comes with an oil cooler, the Harley does not,this is a huge factor.Overall the Victory is a better engineered bike.However, the Harley has a quality that I can not put my finger on. No other bike I have rode rides like a Harley. The Kingpin rides like a Japanese bike with subtle Harley. characteristics . ( nothing against any Japanese bikes). If it were not for the Harley Davidson name and the Harley was Japanese it would be considered one of the most awfully engineered bikes on the rode today. Overpriced and old technology.
