Falken takes on the 2011 Long Beach Grand Prix

Finishing just one place out of a podium spot in the hotly contested GT Class, Team Falken's Porsche 911 GT3 RSR, piloted by Porsche Works and team driver Wolf Henzler, and his partner, team driver Bryan Sellers, ran strong all afternoon on the challenging streets of Long Beach, and ended up 4th out of 14 GT entrants during the annual visit by the American LeMans Series to the Long Beach Grand Prix, one of the most prestigious street races in the world, now in its 37th year.

http://www.facebook.com/falkentire http://www.falkentire.com All eyes were on Team Falken to see if the performance tire manufacturer could keep the momentum going after its first place finish in Long Beach, and the dynamic results from Round 2 of the 2010 Formula Drift Championship proved the team is on a roll after Falken Driver Daijiro "Dai" Yoshihara took the overall win on the proving grounds of legendary Road Atlanta, defeating teammate Vaughn Gittin, Jr., in the final. It was the first overall win for Yoshihara as a Team Falken member. Gittin, Jr., leads the standings after his first overall in Long Beach and second place at Road Atlanta. Formula Drift TOP 32 - Ross Petty VS JTP at Long Beach
LONG BEACH, CA -- Team Falken started the 2012 Formula Drift season the way it finished last year, with one of its factory drivers on top of the podium. For the second year in a row, Justin Pawlak took first place at the Long Beach opening round, making it a three-peat for Falken at Long Beach, one of the tire brand's two home tracks. Formula Drift defending champion and Team Falken teammate Daijiro ("Dai") Yoshihara was second.
