2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 vs 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition! - Head 2 Head Ep. 52
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Jonny Lieberman travels to Barber
Motorsports Park for a head to head matchup with the brand new Chevy Camaro Z/28 and a well
known heavyweight, the Nissan GT-R. But not just any GT-R, the 2014 Track
Edition which packs a 545 hp twin-turbo
V-6, a 6-speed dual clutch transmission, sticky Dunlop tires and AWD
traction into a car without rear seats. The Z/28, by way of contrast,
features a massive 7.0-liter naturally-aspirated V-8, a 6-speed manual
transmission, and tail-out RWD. While it does still have rear seats, nearly
every other non-essential component has been removed. Moreover, the Z28's
tires might be even stickier! The front ones, enormous 305-sections, are
certainly the widest tires ever bolted to a production car. Both cars are
phenomenal, and both cars make rational men scream, "Gimme!" But only one
can come out on top. Watch and find out!

Chevy Camaro SS @ the
Ford Shelby GT500 v Hennessey Camaro:
Camaro SS v Challenger
SRT8 v Shelby GT500: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rJhgxyWVDo
The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro V6 sits, engine ticking,
in the middle of a dangerous intersection of perception.
Heading in from one side is Muscle Car Blvd. Dotted with neon signs and its
pavement scarred with melted rubber, this road is enthusiastically
patrolled by car-guy elitists. It bears a sign reading "V8s only." The
quick-stop oil change location is long closed, "DIY 4-Life" spray-painted
across the dusty windows. Entry-level sport coupes tread lightly here.
Dead ahead lies Vanity Lane. It is patrolled by secretaries, retired
secretaries and the fashionistas to whom a car is no different from a
handbag — a world where style is substance. Here one little faux pas, one
misguided association with, say, a mullet haircut, will shatter the
illusion of high style. It's here that you find the entry-level Corvette
with automatic transmission, the old Lexus SC coupe and the ever-lasting Mustang V6.
2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track vs 2013 Ford Mustang V6 Performance Package
Regardless of their opposing design philosophies, both the Genesis Coupe
and Mustang are equipped
with high-output naturally aspirated V6 engines and 6-speed manual
gearboxes, tip the scales at around 3,500 lbs, and are packaged with firmer
suspensions, bigger brakes and stickier tires so that you can literally
drive them off the showroom floor and onto the race track. And that's
exactly what we've done.

2009 Hyundai Genesis 4.6 vs. 2008 Lexus GS 350
CHECK OUT THE HYUNDAI VS. LEXUS SMACKDOWN:
It's almost hard to write: Lexus vs. Hyundai. That's the New York Yankees
taking on the Albuquerque Isotopes — same game, different leagues. It's
pitting an exalted brand name to which millions aspire, up against the
bargain brand millions settle for. And yet despite that, putting the 2008
Lexus GS 350 up against Hyundai's audacious new 2009 Genesis 4.6 in a
luxury sedan throw-down has resulted in one of the closest finishes ever in
an Inside Line heads-up comparison test.
Yes, the Hyundai Genesis holds its own quite well against the Lexus GS 350
— without all that pesky prestige.
