AutoMeter Phantom white face gauges. Blaupunkt CD stereo, hazard switch and misc. rocker switches for fuel pump, aux. fan, etc.
Additional instrument pod on dash with AutoMeter Phantom Boost pressure and fuel/air ratio gauges.
Drive Train
2.0 liter motor w/9.0 compression, E-12 head ported and flowed, 292 Schrick cam, tii distributor w/Petronics and MSD 6A ignition. Head studs. Baffled oil pan. E-30 M3 starter, E-30 M3 radiator. Motor built by Eric Kerman(EDK Motors). Compression in all cylinders is 160 lbs. or higher. Camden rootes-type Supercharger with one 45mm Weber side draft carburetor generates approx. 10lbs. of Boost (MSD Boost Sensor allows motor to run on 93 octane pump gas). Aprox output. 200+ HP.
1981 320iS 5 speed overdrive transmission w/E-30 325 clutch package. 320iS 3.90:1 limited slip differential. Ireland Engineering short shift kit.
All parts used in 5 speed conversion are BMW factory parts.
Brakes
tii Booster, new tii master cylinder.
FRONT: rebuilt tii calipers. Cross-drilled rotors.
REAR: All new 320iS drum brake components.
Stainless steel braided brake lines.
Exhaust
1 5/8" Top End tubing header w/2 ¼" tubing Exhaust. Resonator and rear muffler from Top End Engineering.
Suspension/Steering
tii close-ratio steering box.
Bilstein HD front struts, Bilstein Sport rear shocks.
H&R 1 ½" lowered springs. 21mm front sway bar w/urethane bushings. 19mm adjustable rear sway bar with urethane bushings.
Heavy duty(5 series) rear sub-frame bushings.
Rear differential hanger has solid urethane bushings.
Front strut brace.
De-camber plates(front struts).
New front track arm bushings.
Lower ball joints replaced.
Lower control arms replaced.
Wheels & Tires
Revolution 3 pc. wheels. Front, 7"X15". Rear, 8"X15".
Tires, BF Goodrich G-Force Sport. Front, 205/55 R15 V88. Rear, 225/50 R15 V91.
Misc.
Custom torque brace from Top End Engineering.
Optima 75/25 gel cell battery mounted under rear seat.
Trunk carpet.
Fan thermocouple activated at 195 degrees F. Fan has manual override switch.
Electric fuel pump w/adjustable pressure regulator.
Remote alarm system.
Halon fire extinguisher.
Intermittent wiper switch and relay from 1976 2002.
Steering box mount bracket on front subframe re-enforced(boxed welded).

BMW 2002 Chased by Cop Car on Autocross Course
Fred Beck autocrossing in his BMW 2002, chased by a police cruiser with lights and siren. He has to slow down every so often to let the cop catch up.
