A few laps with Tommy Archer - Viper Days - Texas World Speedway - May 22, 2010
This is Tommy Archer driving my car at Texas World Speedway during one of my race practice sessions for Viper Days. He was consistently running 1:46s in the clockwise direction with me (200 lbs) in the passenger seat. Tommy was working with me and helping setup my car.
NASA TX & Texas World Speedway - Dodge Viper 'Rogue ACR-X' - April 25th, 2010
This is Race 3. Race 1 and 2 were not so good for me. Race 1 I was rear
ended. Race 2 they called us to grid in 5 minutes and yet the race had
already left. Go figure. So, before I went home, I just wanted to get in a
decent race. I started out 11th because of the Race 2 fiasco. I managed to
get to 3rd which wasn't so bad considering it was a 7 lap race. 7 laps?
Whatever. Here's the video. Enjoy!

just getting into a groove.

2011 Corsa Motoclassica AHRMA Vintage Motorcycle Race At Willow Springs California
The 2011 Corsa Motoclassica AHRMA Vintage Motorcycle Race at Willow Springs
raceway was a lot of fun. The crowd was bigger than I've ever seen it, and
there were people of all ages there to watch the vintage motorcycle racing
action. It was very windy. Sorry about the wind noise in the video. I
wanted to make sure you could hear the sounds of the classic motorcycles,
so I didn't dub any music over it. Just about every kind of vintage
motorcycle you could name was there: BSA, Triumph, Norton, Harley
Davidson, Matchless, Benelli, Norton, Ducati, Indian, Vincent, and some
brands I'd never heard of before. There were great deals on vintage
motorcycles for sale, great racetrack burgers and chili dogs, great people,
and the whole weekend was a lot of fun. A lot of riders were wearing gopro
cameras, and I'll be searching youtube for their videos over the next week.
I hope you like this video of AHRMA vintage motorcycle racing at the Corsa
Moto Classica at Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond, California. If you
weren't there this year, make plans to go next year. I shot this in HD and
also took some still pictures of classic vintage motorcycles with my Pentax
K20D digital camera. The AHRMA puts on some great vintage motorcycle
Viper Racing League - 8/29/09 - Texas World Speedway
This is my first race with the Viper Racing League (Viper Days/NARRA) at
Texas World Speedway on Saturday 8/29/09. We have a rolling start with a
pace car and ran 12 laps for about 30 minutes. I edited this video from the
30 minute race down to 10 minutes so it would fit within the YouTube! time
limit. We also had a 26 lap inverted race on Sunday for about 50 minutes
but my camera messed up and I only got the first lap and it shut off.
Anyway, I came in 3rd place in both races behind the World Challenge
competition coupes which are much faster and have better drivers. I was
extremely happy to come in 3rd. In this race, I started out in the 3rd row
inside and managed to get behind Tom in his white/blue comp coupe. I chased
him most of the race just waiting for a mistake. He began losing his tires
and I managed to stick my nose in on turn 13. He was gracious and let me by
but could have easily kept me from passing. We were pretty even the whole
race and it was tons of fun. Thanks, Tom! The next race is Roebling Road in
Georgia and then off to Daytona on the Rolex Series course.
