How to clean your K&N drop-in filter using the K&N recharger cleaning kit
Just a demonstration on how to clean your K&N air filter using the
recharger kit on my 2007 Ford F-150, 5.4L Triton V8. It works the same for
all K&N filters, whether they're oval or square.
Also as an FYI, K&N filters regardless if new or not, will have tiny pin
holes all through the filter. When you oil it, make sure you spray oil onto
those holes to cover them up.
How to Clean and Recharge / Oil a K&N air filter
Last air filer you'll ever have to buy, if you maintain it! In this video
I show you how to clean and "recharge" your K&N air filter. Today's
vehicle example is a 1999 Honda Civic with a B16 motor.
This video is a little bit on the long side, but I wanted to be thorough
showing every step involved in maintaining these filters so you can get
maximum performance and service life from these filters.

How to clean and oil a K&N / S&B air filter.
How to properly maintain and oil a K&N / S&B reusable air filter. To find
out how much oil to apply to your K&N filter visit
http://www.knfilters.com/search Search for your vehicle or K&N Part Number.
This will take you to the filter specs. to include both oz and ml
measurements. For S&B filters visit
http://www.sbfilters.com/Stock-Replacement-Filters . search to find your
vehicle or part number. The filter specs will show "Re-Oiling Amount for
Filter: 51" This is a grams measurement. REMEMBER! Just use the garden hose
with no hose attachment. Attachments increase the water pressure and can
damage the filter media. Be sure to use a soft hair brush like the one I
used on the filter to remove debris. A hard brush may damage the filter

Are K&N Air Filters worth it?
Why I've switched to using paper air filters in my car. K&N has larger
pores, which lets in more dirt to your engine! Also, the oil on them can
cover your mass air flow sensor and destroy it.
Here's the filter that I current use and am happy with (search your own
vehicle since they are all different); http://amzn.to/14Z3y7k

Quick Tip-Throttle Cleaning - EricTheCarGuy
This one goes out to BowlingBallOut who posted a question about a sticky
throttle on his Saturn. It was a great question so I decided to make this
video in response to it. There are many different configurations of
throttle assemblies but for the most part if you have a throttle that is
sticking you might be able to fix it using the procedures in this video. I
am aware you may not able to purchase spray throttle cleaner in some states
now but I'm sure they have some alternative available at your local parts
One very important note here is that if you have a drive by wire throttle
(DBW), then I do NOT recommend this procedure. If you perform this
procedure on a DBW throttle body you may need to have the throttle reset in
order to get your engine to idle or even start. I only recommend this
procedure if you're trying to correct a problem with a sticking throttle.
If you have idle problems, I recommend you check out this article on my
