2011 Mustang 5.0 with GT500 exhaust
While the 5.0 is a superb car in every respect the Exhaust note has always been disappointing for me. My previous 2007 GT was much more aurally satisfying and frankly the stock Exhaust on the 5.0 is pants, I guess Ford were looking to expand their market towards a more refined customer -- they failed!
If I drive a Mustang I want it to sound like a muscle car.
The GT500 remedies this failing in an awesome manner. It's loud when you want it to be and quiet without drone when cruising. Why oh why didn't Ford fit this as stock....
My 1970 Charger
Another down time vid. This is my 1970 Dodge Charger. It has a built 440 in it, this video was filmed with open headers. Also, Ben Jones(Cooter), John Schneider(Bo Duke), and Rick Hurst(Cletus Hogg) signed my visors. I may be going to the '08 Dukes Fest in Atlanta to have the other remaining characters from The Dukes of Hazzard sign it as well.
GT500 & 5.0 Cruise
2011 GT500 and 20111 Mustang 5.0 GT, with a "Ghost Cam" tune, which gives it the classic cammed sound at idle.
2 takes of about 5 minutes a piece from both cars. Shelby on cam is second half of video. Excessive wind noise at high speeds.
