Fiat 500 with Subaru engine
See: http://www.zcars.org.uk This is a Fiat 500 modified by ZCars Ltd to the specification of a customer from Greece. The design brief was to fix his 500 in an interesting way so that it would have more useable power to enable him to drive his family around town in comfort. Whilst he was tempted to have the Suzuki Hayabusa conversion ZCars also produce he decided that he wanted to keep the rear seats. As that is where the 200bhp motorcycle would be installed that option was ruled out! The engine is an EA81 Subaru engine (1800cc flat 4) which is quite an old engine although still widely used as an aviation engine we are told. This engine was used due to its simplicity, power and torque characteristics and not least its size and shape. This was mated to the original gearbox with clutch and drive shafts up rated. Also up-rated were the brakes with discs all around and the suspension at the front. The transverse leaf spring was removed and adjustable alloy dampers were used with coil springs. A new front subframe was fitted to allow the use of wishbone suspension arms. Obviously as it is a water cooled engine, radiators were required. This was inserted into the front boot space (trunk) and water pipes run underneath the car. A new stainless steel Exhaust finished the conversion and new wheels and tyres were fitted as an optional extra.

Five Stars Ahead (Ford Anglia & Prefect) - 1952
This is the 1952 launch film for the new E100A Ford Anglia and Prefect range. Shot in 35mm, this film has some lovely shots of Ford's design studios, the factory at Dagenham, the prototypes undergoing testing, and finishes with the new cars being used by delighted families. Filled with optimism, this film captures the mood of motoring from the time, where the country was emerging from the post-war gloom days and looking to a brighter new future.

1927 Ford: Double-Trouble -- /BIG MUSCLE
Owner: • Gordon Tronson In the world of hot-rodding there are few cars that are going to leave as big an impression as this - the 1927 Ford Model T custom simply known as "Double-Trouble". It rides on a custom-built tube chassis that's fabricated from 1.5-inch tube. Is powered by two 4.6-liter modular V8s from Ford with four, count 'em, FOUR Superchargers for an approximate power output of around 1,200 hp. It also utilizes the rear-end (inboard disc brakes and all) from an early Jaguar. It's a rolling a Hot Wheels car and a masterpiece of engineering that is sure to make all your naughty bits tingle.

2014 Ford Raptor 6.2L vs F-250 6.2L Mashup Ike Gauntlet Towing Test ( Part 1)
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) The 2014 Ford SVT Raptor does not directly compete against the Ford F-250. But in this case both trucks have one significant thing in common...they both come equipped with the same Ford 6.2L engine. In fact the Raptor's 6.2L V8 is tuned with a few more ponies from the factory. So how do these two different trucks with the same engine compare when it comes to towing. We decide to find out by taking both trucks up the TFLtruck Ike Gauntlet Mega towing torture test in classic mashup review. The Ike Gauntlet is a timed run up one of America's steepest highways from 9,000 feet above sea level to the top of the mountain at entrance to the Eisenhower Tunnel in Colorado. Watch the 2015 Ford F-450 6.7L Diesel Super Duty Debut at the State Fair of Texas
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) Ford introduced its 2015 F-Series Super Duty lineup at the Texas State Fair and the big news is a better Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel engine. They've also beefed up the F-450 to make it even tougher. The new Power Stroke features a larger GT37 turbocharger that measures 72.5 millimeters in diameter versus the smaller GT32 it replaces which came in at 64 millimeters. This means Exhaust gases have a larger surface area to spin the turbo so you'll get extra power.
