This is the latest version of the TTS Rotrex supercharged Rocket 3. This bike is fitted with JE forged pistons at 10:1 compression. TTS FI cams and the Rotrex C30-94 Supercharger is being spun to its maximum of 100,000 rpm and should give approx 16lb of Boost. The increase in compression and increase in Boost should increase bhp conciderably. Watch this space.

Rocket 3 TTS Rotrex Supercharger
The 1st start up after fitting the TTS Supercharger kit with C30 Rotrex unit to a 2005
I replaced the auto belt tensioner for the manual tensioner and a stud
fitted to the drive pinion rather than the bolt which was prone to
breakage. You will note that the drive pulley nut appears to run out of
true, illusion only created by the washer and the plastic within the nut.
The pinion shaft and belt drive pulley have been dialled for accuracy
Producing 276 hp with TuneBoy mapping by Wayne.
Some further adjustments have been made for this particular bike.
Total fitting time for a Rocket with all standard trims refitted and the
installation of braiding for the oil lines to and from the charger unit, 27
Power delivery is exceptionally smooth and instantaneous. Although the idle
control unit has been removed, with careful manual adjustment, cold
starting is effortless with no throttle, straight off the button and steady
at 800rpm cold, 900 rpm hot.
Using the TuneEdit programme I recommend restricting the rev limiter to
3500rpm for the first 500km to allow correct run in of the Rotrex unit, and
limiting the secondary butterflies to 70% opening.
After run in.....FULL POWER!!!
This is the first Rocket to be fitted with a TTS kit here in New Zealand.
