134172 / 1971 Dodge Charger R/T
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/k4ob4je Freshly restored, powered by an original big block and propelled by a correct Torqueflite, this world class Charger will score judge for judge in the arena and stand match for match on the street! This awesome coupe's high quality, frame-off restoration began with a clean, original body that, based on appearance, has led a straight, trouble-free life. That said, this isn't 1971 anymore, and this Charger is no longer a run-of-the-mill assembly car, so that solid body was thoroughly stripped, lovingly sanded and massaged to a level that's much nicer than its original showroom condition. Once the car's panels were correctly aligned, and its intimidating slab-sided ambiance fully reconstructed, a correct coat of Chrysler code CW3 Bright White paint was expertly applied under a correct vinyl top and fresh R/T decals. And today, this razor-sharp Mopar sits as an ultra-straight, fully detailed pavement pounder that elicits loud comments and long stares every time it hits the road! Lift this Dodge's long, freshly finished hood and you'll find an original 440 cubic inch Chrysler V8 that's been fully rebuilt and thoroughly detailed for show. On the sides of that big engine, 2536430-8 casting numbers indicate the presence of a correct RB powerplant. Just above those casting numbers, official January (1) 29th (29) of 1970 (70) casting dates align perfectly with the car's February production. And just below those casting dates, a matching 1A155603 partial VIN confirms the mill is indeed original equipment. Behind that stout RB you'll find a stalwart A727 TorqueFlite that shifts smoothly and powers down the road with ease. Behind that Torqueflite, a familiar Dana 60 posi-traction rear end utilizes steep 4.10 gears to throw power to the pavement with authority. And at the corners of that drivetrain, power front disc and rear drum brakes provide quick and reliable stops to perfectly counter 15 inch Rallye wheels and fresh G60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GTs. Sit down inside this great looking Charger and you'll find a new vinyl interior that's accented with tasteful wood applique and bright stainless trim. The first thing you'll notice is the car's high quality bucket seats, which feature comfortable pleats on top of straight frames and what feels like brand new foam. At the front of the car, a great looking dash hangs a rebuilt instrument cluster above a correct AM/FM radio and Chrysler's super rare stereo/recorder system. And in front of the driver, an infamous Mopar Tuff Wheel mixes a whole lot of form with a whole lot of function. With a highly detailed restoration that was completed by expert builders, this awesome Charger is about as close to original as a restored car can get. If you're in the market for some old school, investment grade muscle that will gain value for years to come, call, click or visit http://RKMotorsCharlotte.com for more information!

Dodge Charger 1968 blown hemi
this is Nick suckow's car in September 2008 before it was stolen. If you have any information about this dodge charger please let me know. http://www.weau.com/home/headlines/33732019.html# Back in 1984, high-schooler Nick Suckow bought himself a '68 Dodge Charger. He was gonna fix it up and roar down the road. Nick was born a gearhead. A hot rod. From the first time he drove, he drove hard. The redline was always at hand. When he joined the Army out of high school and shipped to Germany he got hooked on the autobahn, where you could ease over to the left lane, stomp the foot-feed flat, and shoot, they just let you go. "Fast," Nick likes to say, "isn't the same as reckless." All that racing around, and then life served up a grim little joke: The day Nick Suckow wrecked - the day his life changed forever, the last day he ever stood on his own two feet - he was going 35 miles per hour with his seatbelt on. He'd been married two weeks. He and his wife were on their way home from their Wisconsin honeymoon, making the run back to Texas in Nick's Gran Prix. They were towing a rusted-out Ford Bronco - Nick always had his eye out for a cheap beater, and he had found one up north. On a rough stretch of road Nick crawled in the Bronco to keep it straight. The front tire hooked a pothole. The tie rod snapped. The seat belt broke. He landed in the ditch. The Bronco landed on his neck. Nick says he remembers the sun in his eyes. Then the darkness closing in. A lot of years, then. Hospitals. Home. Hospitals. The marriage ended. Back to Wisconsin. Rehab, and more hospitals. The speed demon, not going anywhere fast. But eventually he had them drag that Charger out. Arranged to get it in the shop. Whenever he had a little money, he'd get some work done. "They whittled away at it," he says. "I told my mom, if I die, dump my ashes in the fuel tank, and I'll go down the drag strip one last time." Seventeen years. Seventeen years of learning how to live from the neck up. Seventeen years of whittling. Hed show you the latest pictures - a quarter panel here, a shot of primer there, a couple tires. He'd get down to the shop, supervise in person when he could. He couldn't run the wrenches, but he could run the show. He'd sneak out for a little speed fix sometimes - once a paraplegic friend strapped Nick's chair to a motorcycle sidecar and they blew down the road, one good pair of arms between'em. Nick says it was good to feel the wind on his face. On a sunny day in October of 2006, Nick Suckow's pals helped him slide from one set of wheels into another. They strapped him in the passenger side, and you could see the anticipation on his face, even behind the mirrored shades. The car cruised out of the lot, and then picked up speed, the blower making a Mad Max whine as the wheels warmed to the road. After a nice easy ride, the Charger pulled to a stop on an isolated little stretch of blacktop. There was a quiet moment, before the driver wound that 426 fuel-injected blown Hemi up tight. Then Nick Suckow gave the nod and went fishtailing down the blacktop on a journey that had never really ended. http://www.musclecarrestorations.com/suckow.html

1968 Dodge Charger RT 440 V8 Mopar Muscle Car
I thought you'd like a look at this super clean 1968 Dodge Charger RT. This baby is powered by a nicely detailed, high performance 440 V8, backed by a 727 Torqueflite automatic. As you can see, the body is straight and that blue is a real attention grabber. The interior is in nearly new condition and it's riding on a beautiful set of Magnum 500 chrome wheels. This car really is slick, inside and out. It's an excellent example of Mopar Muscle at it's finest. I hope you found it interesting, thanks for taking a look!
