The late, great, Modified eliminator. If you've never witnessed Modified Production and Gas-class cars in action, you really missed drag racing's most exciting era! Sure, drag cars are making more horsepower and torque than ever, with resulting quicker and faster ET's and MPH, but the sounds of these high rpm, manual shift race cars--sans any electronic rev limiters--is no longer around. Ditto for the mean sounding/cool looking dry hops, as the cars approach the start line (after the burnout) is unfortunately, a thing of the past.

This is a 351 cobra jet 4v w/ hurst 4=speed ford top loader! stock bottom end, stock cast iron 4v heads w/ stainless steel valves, 292H comp cam and springs, wiend xcellerator intake, 830cfm holley, 4.56 gears. car weighs 3500lbs Runs 8.90 @ 78mph in the 8th mile.

**BEST 11.61 @ 121mph, 1.69 60ft all at 3800lbs!!! Had the mph for a bottom eleven and still didnt have all the bugs worked out. Didnt get to turn the wick up to much, only ended up shifting at 7200, though the motor makes peak power at 7600, so there is much more left in it. NEW COMBO : all new 427, G-Force GF4A 4 speed, etc.
