Small Block Tractor Burn Out
This is a short hastily throw together video of me trying out my sister's pulling tractor. There is something I should make clear before it is asked:
1) Yes I am wearing Crocs.
2) It was laundry day, I don't normally ride around in over sized sweat pants, tee shirt, and some Crocs.
3) I don't care what you think about Crocs.
Racing Mower/Go Kart First Test Ride!
We FINALLY drove it for the first time! The Kart performed great, The motor and tav2 still need some tuning, as we wern't getting into the upper rpms... It was maxing out around 2000-2500rpm. (Should be up around 3500rpm) But we had no big problems what-so-ever!

Two Days of Off Road Lawn Mower Rompage
Romped Saturday and Sunday afternoons. About 4 hours total on trail. 1.5 hours of footage was trimmed down to make this video. Both mowers have 28 CI Briggs OHV engines. One is 14.5 HP, the other is 16.5. Both are pulley swapped with Lincoln-Locked diffs.
Pulley Swap Speed Test - Hot Rod Lawn Tractor - Racing Lawn Mower
I managed to get the pulley swap done yesterday and we took it out for a little test drive. I decided to leave the engine pulley stock and just swap the transaxle pulley. So, I switched the transaxle pulley from a 9 inch diameter pulley to a 2.5 inch pulley. Then I took up the slack in the old belt, to figure out what length the new belt should be. It turned out that a deck belt from a 40" Murray works just fine. We still have some carburetor issues to address before we'll be getting the maximum performance out of it. I also have some modifications that I'm going to make to the spindles and front end. I hope you find this racing mower project interesting...thanks for watching!
