How to Install a Comp Cam in a 5.3L LM7 Part 1
I show you the basics of installing a cam in a 5.3L (LS1 type engine). The cam I install is a new Comp Cam part #54-455-11 with 215/223 Duration and .604/.610 Lift on a 112 LSA. To go along with the install I put in new 7.4" Hardened Chomoley Pushrods and Comp 918 Valve Spring good for .625 lift.

1999 silverado cam swap
1999 silverado 84,000 miles ls6 cam and springs, flowmaster Exhaust and spectre Exhaust. the swap went well except for one of the lifters falling into the engine, but if i can do it anyone can, thank you LS1TRUCK.COM for all the help.
