Dad took me for a spin in his 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria. After stopping
at Buffalo Bill's Mansion and Scout's Rest Ranch, I ask him for a quick
demonstration of the Ford's engine power.
Update: A few viewers have kindly suggested (or rudely insisted) that the
engine is misfiring. Since I don't know much about cars, this one in
particular, I asked Dad the last time I talked to him. He told me that it
was not misfiring, and that the rough idle was characteristic of the
Y-block engines Ford was using for these cars. He did inform me, however,
that there is an Exhaust leak, and
that may be what people are hearing and mistaking for a misfire.
He then said, "I know that explanation won't be good enough for some people
who are convinced my engine just HAS to be missing. I don't care; it runs
well enough for my tastes."
Update 2: I'm going to ask all the functionally retarded members of the
YouTube community to please consider the following:
If you are a jerk to me, expect me to make fun of you, then block you. I'm
not putting up with it. You can hate me, hate my dad, hate his car, hate
this video all you want--just thumbs down my video and move on with your
life. Seriously. No one cares. At all. I put this up on a whim for
people who might enjoy seeing a '56 Fairlane. If you aren't one of those
people, go find something you do like.

2013 Street Rodder Road Tour 1951 Ford Drivetrain Installation
Street Rodder Magazine taps Honest Charley Garage to build their flagship
car for the 2013 Street Rodder Road Tour. The toughest part of the build so
far kicks the guys in the stomach. The high-tech Ford EcoBoost® twin turbo V6 and monster 6-Speed SelectShift
Automatic® Transmission have to be shoe-horned into the old shoebox.
Easier said, than done. EcoBoost
generates 90 percent of its amazing 420 lb.-ft. of torque from 1,700 to
5,000 rpm, so this install has to be strong in addition to making it all
fit in limited space of a 60 year old car.

1927 Ford: Double-Trouble -- /BIG MUSCLE
• Gordon Tronson
In the world of hot-rodding there are few cars that are going to leave as
big an impression as this - the 1927 Ford Model T custom simply known as
"Double-Trouble". It rides on a custom-built tube chassis that's fabricated
from 1.5-inch tube. Is powered by two 4.6-liter modular V8s from Ford with
four, count 'em, FOUR Superchargers for
an approximate power output of around 1,200 hp. It also utilizes the
rear-end (inboard disc brakes and all) from an early Jaguar. It's a rolling
a Hot Wheels car and a masterpiece of engineering that is sure to make all
your naughty bits tingle.
