The End of Group B

This video shows the darkside of Group B rallying and the most important events that lead to the cancellation of the series from the rally championship: spectator problems, the Portugal tragedy and the death of the great Henri Toivonen and his co-driver, Sergio Cresto. Warning, it also contains the footages of both fatal accidents! Music: 1. Immediate Music - Sacrificium 2. Immediate Music - Lake of Fire 3. Immediate Music - Intercept

Rally Group B - Tribute
All images and music included are not in my own possession. This is a tribute to the rallying of the middle 80's, when Group B monsters dominated the championship. There were no serious restrictions for the cars and no limitations for developing, the tracks were extremely dangerous and the crowd were as close to the cars as possible. As the result of rapid evolution the cars became as powerful as F1 cars and it was too much for human abilities to keep them on the nasty roads on the limit. In 1986, after several horrible crashes, FIA banned Group B rallying forever. Rally crash 80' 90'
Safety on the rallies has always been a problem for the organizers. Fortunately this is very different now, even if zero risk, as everyone knows, does not exist. Then we, the spectators and rally fans, to do our best ...

Group B - The Killer B's (HD)
Group B regulations made the construcion of the most powerful rally cars of all time possible, but they also made rallying very dangerous. After serious accidents, Group B got the nickname „The Killer B's". Driving these monsters required pure skill and heroism. This compilation focuses on the dark, but epic side of the series. Musics: Immediate Music - All Hell Break's Loose (choir version) Clint Mansell - Lux Aeterna
