This is the last Trans Am video I made at the 2008 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance (aside from when the selected award winning Trans-Am cars got their awards)

Jim Richards AMX Javelin Reveal - first video Touring Car Masters Unveil AMC Muscle
Touring Car Masters Jim Richards Reveals his '73 AMC AMX Javelin which will race the 2012 tcm season and debut at the clipsal 500 adelaide
Jim Richards Racing kindly invited a few Javelin Car Club members along to the factory to have a close up look at the recently completed Bruce Tyson Built Javelin.
Everyone was very impressed, Particularly at the attention to detail throughout this magnificent machine. And the sound of that engine was just brilliant. After a 2 year build, it was well worth the wait. We look forward to watching the amc Javelin winning races.
Thanks to Jim and his crew for answering loads of questions from the keen Javelin owners and we wish you all the best for the season.

One last short burn-out with my HOT 1969 AMC Javelin
In June of 2008 I was forced to sell my beloved 69 Javelin because of medical problems that my wife was having, and loss of work time, and pay, to be by her side no matter what it takes. The bills still keep coming in, and I need to turn her into cash. My 1969 AMC Javelin 1 hour before the new owner picked up the car. I have owned for almost 40 years. It has a built 343, 30 over, Crane cam & kit, Hooker Headers, Offy 360 manifold, 4 speed, 3:91 posi rear, Lalewood tracton bars. It is a very strong runner, and I am still crying over the loss, that will never be able to be replaced. The second part of the clip is my sons 1968 AMX. At least he will carry on the AMC tradition in the family. Maybe he will let me get behind the wheel sometime. UPDATE!!! Nov 2008... The new owner has informed me that he had blown the motor up, iy only has 9000 miles on it since a total restoration almost 25 years ago. Way to go!!!! I should have sold my Corvette and kept my Javelin. Boy did I screw up!!!
UPDATE 3/04/2012. I once agin have a smile on my face, as I just purchased a fantastic looking BBG 1969 AMX. It sounds and looks a lot like my BBG Javelin.

American Motors Tribute Song - Blatantly AMC
Original song highlights AMC / Rambler cars. Destroy Silvey 2010. Lyrics below.
Buddy Silvey drove an American Rambler
Wanted to grow up some day .. be Ambassador
Liked staying cool in the old Kelvinator
But why would that silly fool go out
driving with a rusty radiator. (Rambler mentality)
Maybe we should have sprung for that 'ol Jeep instead
It would'a been perfiect ride for sunny weather down south
And on our way through Hudson... in Texas that is
We might have spent the day chasing Classic fillies instead. (Umm Hmmm)
And there's a time back in 1969
When Javelin, Rebel, Rouge, were smiling all the time.
And I said....
Hey man no need banging your head on The Machine
You're only a'tracking more Gremlins that way
We stopped at a little place along the way
Called Marlin Good Morning Spirit cafe
Nice little place to catch the sunrise, homemade breakfast and stuff
But man like Eagles it was time to fly
When it was time to make our way back home
We were making good time with Paul Harvery on the radio
(Good Day!)
Had to smile at that camper rig You know the one
You couldn't miss it with that little pink Pacer in tow
And there's a time back in 1969
Javelin, Rebel, Rouge, were smiling all the time.
And I said....
Hey man no need banging your head on the machine
Only a'tracking more Gremlins that way
Here we are so many years ahead
How many times have I asked ...Hey lets roll out that AMX
There'll be times when there's old hornets about
And I can think of so many things I thought about back then
And there's a time back in 1969
When Javelin, Rebel, Rouge, were smiling all the time.
And I said....
Hey man it's time to go. Roll out the AMX, come on let's go.
