Best Paint Touch-up Tricks: Mercedes G55
This is one of the worst key scratches I have ever seen. This car needed to
be repainted, but I thought I would give it a shot...nothing to lose. It
covered 3 separate door panels with varying depth levels. 98% of the 9 feet
was through the clear coat, paint, base, and into the substrate. EXTREMELY
bad scratch. In this episode, I discuss multiple ways to approach this type
of paint damage. I want to be crystal clear: THIS CAR NEEDED TO BE
REPAINTED FOR 90-100% satisfaction. My techniques here, with the
understanding of the customer, had the best-case final results of 70% to

Block was also decked
New crank pully
Valves and seats were lapped
Spring rebound rate measured------passed
New valve seals,
All new seals
New timing belt (gates)
Dizzy rebuilt: new cap, new rotor, new ignition coil
All new seals and gaskets including vtec solinoid gasket
Vtec noid disassembled and cleaned
New NKG plugs and Wires
Visison Racing adjustable cam gears
Injectors and fuel rail cleaned
Arp Studs throughout top and bottomend
Cometic head gasket
Trans: Y80 non-lsd
New Second, third, and reverse gear
All new bearings
New half shafts (both)
New intermediate shaft bearing
New ACT racing Stage 1 clutch
Road racing GSR Hatch, VTEC cracks hard

Turbo Coupe SCCA Build Episode 1
The turbo Coupe I bought off of a ranch
in 2008 is finally going to be a race car. I have recently regained
interest in racing and hope to have this car fully finished by September.
My ultimate goal for this car is to compete in the 2WD time attack class at
Pikes Peak and the Mount Washington Hill Climb.
