R4Tech Advertisement Video
R4Tech, which replaces the factory leaf spring suspension, comprises a
high-quality Air Spring and SANLUIS Rassini's leaf-spring suspension,
positioned in a unique architecture to create a fully functional system
that adjusts for varying load capacities. The suspension system delivers
an improved ride at all times by utilizing the variable spring rate of the
air spring to stiffen when the truck is loaded and soften when unloaded.
An upgrade over traditional solutions, R4Tech increases axle control during
acceleration and braking for improved torque management and reduced wheel
hop. The design allows the suspension to move at all load conditions,
therefore isolating and absorbing road impact for passengers and cargo
alike. Plus, less steel in the system reduces weight in the vehicle and
improves fuel economy.
By combining Firestone's knowledge and resources as the 'World's No. 1 Air
Spring™' -- including air suspension technology, air spring design, tech
support, marketing and distribution -- and Rassini's expertise in
suspension systems, we have developed a premier suspension system that
reduces the impact of the road on passengers, cargo and trailers.
The complete R4Tech system comes with the Rassini foundation suspension --
including leaf plates, lower trailing link, J-spring, spring perches, and
mounting brackets -- the Airide™ air spring and an air compressor control
system that maintains the proper air level in the spring for the exact load
you're carrying. Professional installation is recommended.
Tahoe on Air - Dropped 2 more inches - McGaughy's Drop spindles installed
This Tahoe, as you might know, has Ridetech Air-ride suspension (E3,
Shockwave Titanium series). I just replaced the entire front end with all
new DJM Control arms (upper and 3" drop lower's), new ball joints, new end
link bushings, new bearings - and even though it is bagged and has a 3"
drop already, it still just did not sit very low. I decided to go with a
2" Drop Spindle by McGaughy's to get just that little bit more and make it
better. It was surprisingly easy to do and really made a difference! I
know she isnt laying frame but at least it has a little more flavor now
when aired out! Another thing that is great is i can drive with the truck
much lower and still have good ride quality!
How To De-badge a Vehicle
http://www.RTLGarage.com Brought to you by RTL Garage. In this episode we
will show you our way of de-badging an adhesive backed emblem. This DOES
not include badges that are held on by the holes in the body. Do your
research, make sure you emblems are held on by adhesive only. Follow all
warnings and labels when using chemicals.
Please note, RTL Garage is not responsible for the results, this is for
