Slow Motion drag race launches - GoPro HERO 3+
Having some fun with our GoPro3+Black set to 120fps mode at the latest NDIMA drag event at Palm Beach Intl raceway. We set the Go Pro next to the tires to try to capture how the rubber wrinkles on a hard launch from these race cars. Most of the raw footage was slowed down 90-95% and NO frame replicating software was used. We were very impressed how clean the frames came out while still being slowed down this far. Only cameras used in this video were Go Pro Hero 3+ Black and Silver. To purchase the gopro hero used in this video check out our friends at http://www.bulletmotorsports.com

Ladder Bar system & Test Drive [S3-Ep.5-1]
If you've been around cars and trucks very long, you know that vintage, nostalgia, and rat rods are very popular. The question is, how do you make a nostalgia-style car with leaf springs hook up like a modern drag car but not lose the vintage look? Simple...you install a ladder bar system! But how do you keep the leaf springs from binding you ask? Ah...there is a special way to do it, and if you want to find out what it is...you need to catch this episode of GearZ. Then it's out on the road to test it out as Stacey shows you just how much fun you can have with a nostalgia-style vehicle. Would somebody please bail him out of jail?!?!

Dodge Challenger Slow motion Wheelie
1974 Dodge Challenger Slomo Wheelie vid. Santa Pod 2010 eurofinals. By Blackett Photography. Here the car is powered by a 572ci Wedge motor. Runs mid 9's @ full weight (3850lb +). To make the caltracks work you need plenty of front end lift, bump stops were removed and frames notched to get almost 6 1/2 inches of travel. Something Chrysler never designed that suspension for I'd guess. We've since improved the bump steer by replacing parts and resetting the camber / castor as the front has aftermarket parts and plenty of adjustment. In reality it's difficut to fully eliminate without going to a strut type front end, though some people appear to have done it on stock stuff, it seems to be a common chrysler trait. Check out the superstock video's from the '70s and most Mopars do it also check out my other real time wheelie vids you see that the wobble lasts only a fraction of a second. Thanks for the comments.

Chevrolet Camaro SS on 22" Vossen CV3 Wheels by California Wheels
Uh-oh, watch out... one of the sharks escaped the tank! This 2010 Chevy Camaro SS (powered by a 426 hp 6.2 liter LS3 V8, no less) definitely looks like a beast from the deep, lurking around the HP Pavilion in downtown San Jose. Especially since it's riding on a set of 22" Vossen CV3 wheels. A specialized, custom fitment, these staggered CV3s (22"x9" in front, 22"x10.5" in back) were custom machined for the perfect fit; allowing for extra wide 315-30-22 Vredestein performance tires to tuck snugly under the rear fenders without rubbing. The Matte Graphite finish of the wheels ups the toughness factor and compliments the gun metal factory paint. Lowering on KW V1 coilovers provides just the right stance for this mean machine. A custom, color matched lip spoiler and custom grille complete the look, and give this land shark a set of vicious jaws. Additional customization: • Lowered on KW V1 coilovers • 3D carbon wrapped SS Wing • Custom color matched RDP hydrocarbon front lip spoiler • GM Heritage main grille • Custom cut lower front grille with Street Scene lower grille ducts • 1LE rear diffuser • Quad 4" Exhaust • Tinted windows • Tires: Nexen 265-35-22 front, Vredestein 315-30-22 rear Visit us online http://www.caliwheels.com/ Like us on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/californiawheels Follow us on Instagram @caliwheels http://www.instagram.com/caliwheels
