Brake Glow and Suspension Action
I decided to get creative with the GoPro at the MVP Track Time track day on
Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Road America. The camera is mounted to the
custom splitter I designed just before the event.
The video is rather long, but there are lots of great views that I decided
to have in the video. It starts with the warm up lap and the first lap.
Then goes to individual cornering and braking shots. Then finishes with a
full lap. The whole thing accompanied by the sounds of the Jackson Racing
The control arms are V8 Roadsters Tubular Control Arms. It is a Spec Miata
Suspension Kit (Bilstein dampers, Eibach springs (700 lbs/in), Eibach sway
bars). The brakes are WIlwood Dynalite forged calipers with DBA 11" discs
in the front.

How To Diagnose and Replace a Bad Brake Caliper -EricTheCarGuy
Visit me at: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/
Brakes are a common DIY project but I often get asked about brake calipers
and how to check if they're bad. This video not only shows how to find a
bad brake caliper but also how to replace it. It is recommended that you
do both sides when you find a faulty brake caliper but it's not necessary.
If you're on a budget you can just do one but you might experience a pull
to one side when braking if you do this. Otherwise you can follow the
steps in this video for caliper replacement. I use my 1997 Subaru Legacy L
in this video but the principals and techniques apply to many vehicles both
domestic and imported.

Carbon brake and wheel installation on a 737 NG
This video shows the removal of an old steel brake (and wheel) and the
installation of a new carbon brake assy and (new) wheel on a Boeing 737
Of course more work is necessary for this modification, like the
installation of flow limiters, another AACU, and the bleeding of the
brakes, testing etc. Refer to the applicable Service Bulletin and the AMM
for all correct procedures.
We used some new tools for easy removal / installation of the wheels and
This video is for information only and may NEVER be used as a guide to
install brakes and wheel on a 737.

This video was made with a mobile phone and therefore the quality is not
that good, but good enough to see whats happening.

Ferrari 599XX glowing brake disk + downshifts !!!
Follow me on Facebook: http://on.fb.me/alexsmolik
In this video you will see a few Ferrari 599XX on the track, near La Source
= you will see glowing brake disks!!!! Pretty INSANE!!! The cars are
braking so hard their brake disks are VERY VERY HOT (so I don't say
"over-heat" :P) to a point they GLOW!!
Shot at Spa-Francorchamps. The Ferrari 599XX is a race car built by Ferrari
for their clients, based on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, but for the track!
This monster can achieve 700 horse power at 9000 rpm... The sound of the
car is simply incredible, but the best part has got to be the downshifts =
you could hear them a few kilometers around, they echoed throughout the
whole circuit! Although the sound isn't as good as in real life, I
definitely hope you will enjoy it! But don't worry, I have more videos from
the event coming ;)
