Well the 4 bolt, 350 small block got a make over with Duplicolor engine enamel, looks 50 times better than it did before, can't wait to get it back in the car and roarin again!

Electrolysis Cleaning a Cylinder Head
This was an experiment I did using electrolysis to clean the cylinder head of a 1967 Triumph GT6. The '67s had external pushrod tubes that makes cleaning them up for restoration a huge pain. I came across the information on electrolysis on a Truck forum, where they'd had a great deal of success using it to remove pretty gnarly rust from an engine block, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Total cost of materials was less than $30, since I already had a battery charger. After it was done, the grease and oil were gone, the rust had converted to a black substance that came off with a toothbrush, and old paint and gaskets flaked off with a razorblade. Well done!

Engine rebuild part 1
We are rebuilding a GM 350 5.7 engine. Now in this particular case we are also going to upgrade the engine to a 383 6.0 This is called building a "stroker" motor. In other words we are increasing the "stroke" of the engine which increased the torq & horsepower.
If you are able & wanting to rebuild an engine, this video should give you a good overview of what to do. If you are having someone else build an engine for you, you will be able to see what's involved in the process

walk around and idle/rev of my rebuilt 350 v8 small block engine
new performance clutch, performance hurst shifter, rebuilt and added lots of chrome for some nice eye candy, custom fitted schroud new 3 core radiator and replaced the clutch fan with a solid block fan with a 3inch spacer, re-painted engine block original chevy orange, painted the underside all black and put a new chrome differntial plate, and new 2inch cowl induction hood...also putting in a new mucie 4 spd trans either a m21 or m22 don't know which would be better so if someone knows lemme know please :)
