Tristan and Jason from Trick and Mansweto Racing break their own record of 7.08sec with a blisteringly fast run of 7.03 at 197mph with their 694ci big block Ford. Impressive number for a naturally aspirated car - it's actually the quickest Pro Street legal pass in Australia - and one of the quickest and fastest naturally aspirated passes for any type of car in Australia. Will we see a six-second pass soon?
STREET MACHINE NATIONALS 2011
Held at Sydney Dragway the Street Machine Nationals combined the best bits
of the modified car scene with burnouts, show cars, pro street drag racing
and hot women. With all the best Pro Street cars, shows cars, and cool
streeters it was a pretty awesome weekend. Can't wait until next year.
Wild 9sec Falcon has trouble going around corners
Now don't get me wrong, I love this car. I've been in this car doing insane
speeds down the main straight at Eastern Creek, but it's not the best car
to be fanging around corners.
But it is wickedly quick in a straight line with genuine 9sec time slips.
Not bad for a street driven car.
Pro Street Kingswood
Considering that Michael Savage's white Knigswood is running one of the
smallest engines in the Pro Street Unblown field, he doesn't do too badly.
The car runs consistently in the high eights.
PSIDUP Smashes Modified Street Blown Record - 7.19 @ 201mph
The biggest news from the Street Machine Nationals was Daniel Nunziante's
new Mod Street Blown record with the twin-turbo 417ci Cortina running the very first 200mph
pass in the Modified Street Blown category. Basically these cars have
standard suspension ocation and are only aloowed a maximum tyre width of
HER350 at Willowbank - before SMOTY
Angela Dow at Willowbank, before she painted the car purple and won Street
Machine Of The Year

Wagon Shits Diff
This nine-second Holden Station Wagon takes a dump on the startline at
Sydney Dragway with the pinion tearing out the front of the Ford Nine-Inch
R.I.P. INOCNT Torana
Simon Kryger's INOCNT Torana has been a solid Pro Street performer at
Sydney Dragway and other tracks for many years. Simon sold the car just
last footage was shot and two weeks later the car was destroyed in a
traffic accident when it was stuck from behind at high speed by another
vehicle. Unfortunately the iconic Torana was destroyed, but the driver
wasn't seriously injurred. Rest in Peace INOCNT.

Rob Campisi - Twin Turbo Mustang
Rob Campisi is probably best known for his twin turbo Cortina BWARND which was one of the first
Pro Street car s in Australia over 200mph. Now he's built this twin turboMustang which is the quickest turbo car in Australia. None of these passes are
truely representative of the car's performance. It can run low 6s at over
220mph, but there's no real drag racing class for this car. I just love it
because it's cool.
VLGOD is a Seven Second Screamer
VL turbo Commodores are a uniquely
Aussie creation and wickedly fast with the right mods. With a 3-litre
straight six (RB30) and a factory single turbo they do okay but these days with RD30 block
and massive roller bearing race turbos
they are pretty awesome. Check out the flames from the pipes on the
Huge Nitrous Backfire - MAULER Toasts It's Windscreen
Imagine being the driver of this Nitrous-injected, V8-powered Mazda. Seeing a huge
wall of flame up your windscreen is never a good thing, but it certainly
looks spectacular on video. We've got lots more action to come from the
Street Machien Nationals.
STAUNCH Torana - 632ci Nitrous Big Block
It was all action at the Street Machine Nationals and Johnny Wilson's Nitrous injected Torana was just one of
many that ran personal bests at Sydney Dragway. The car runs a 632ci big
block Chev with a 500hp direct port Nitrous system and ran a best of 7.46 at 191mph.
i'm pretty sure that makes the second fastest Nitrous car in Australia.
Crazy Torana Hatchback Crash at Sydney Dragway
This Torana hatch has a bit of power - maybe too much for those skinny
10.5in tyres. Up front it's got a blown 'n' injected big block chev and the
driver stays into the gas for little too long in the burnout. After a bit
of pitside panel beating it was back out on the track for a shakedown pass.
