Audi RS4 V8 Engine removal and strip timelapse
Another timelapse from me. This time we have a very poorly Audi RS4 V8 that
was recovered in with a knocking engine after being driven through flood
water. As we suspected a bent conrod, a compression test was carried out
which confirmed low compression on cylinder one.
The engine was removed and stripped to see if any other damage had been
done and to work out the most economical repair. In this case, with damage
to the crankshaft and to the cylinder bore a replacement Short engine was
the most economical option.

Brand new 2009 Audi S4 engine start up and revving!
The engine of this new model S4 has been downsized from a 4.2-litre V8 to a
new 3.0-litre V6. Personally I prefer the grunt of the old V8.. I wonder
what you guys think, please leave a comment.
