2001 Daewoo Lanos Sport Attempt To Start, Engine, and In Depth Tour
I promise I will try and get a battery for these cars and see eventually if I can get them going. I am going on vacation to Myrtle Beach this weekend so I hope you guys have a happy 4th of july and enjoy the videos! In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 2001 Daewoo Lanos. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, attempt to start it up and see if it runs. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
Daewoo Matiz very cold engine start
First start of my Matiz in nearly a year! As always, fired up no problem. I cycled the fuel pump a couple of times but I'm sure it wasn't necessary. Great car, taken me all over the place with no problems.
2007 Saturn ION Starting Problems
Since we drove the car off the lot it would periodically not start on demand only to start some time later (usually 15 minutes or so). Because this problem cannot be replicated on demand we have filmed an instance when the car would not start.

5th Honda prelude starting problem
Hey This is my 1997 Honda prelude sh. It has dc headers and a aem cool air intake. 160k miles. My car started having this problem as the weather started to get colder. And now at about 65 out side the problem has gotton so bad that the car just cranks at a normal speed but doesn't actually start. There is no spark at the distributor. We have sent it to a shop and they tried a new distributor and a new PCM. Nothing changed. Then they said it might be the immobilized but they couldn't do anything about it so I towed it to Honda. Honda couldn't do anything because they said they couldn't pull up my cars vin number. Probably because it was made in japan. Not sure. So they gave up. The car is stuck in front of my house and I can't do anything about it. Oh yeah and Honda said as they were plugging everything back in because the old shop left everything undone because of they're tests the car started for about 20 mins. But then just died. They're are no check engine lights or anything. And Honda won't check any of my recalls because they can't find the vin... Please if you have any ideas let me know what you think.

Step 1: Turn on your ignition
Turn on your ignition if your car engine won't turn over. Listen carefully to any sound produced.
Step 2: Consider a dead battery
Consider the possibility of a dead battery. If trying to start the engine only produces a "click" sound, this may be the case. If you left your car lights on the night before, the battery could have gone dead, and you'll need to have the battery jump-started. If the battery is very old you may have to get a new one.
Tip
Car batteries typically only last 3 to 5 years.
Step 3: Consider a possible alternator problem
Consider a possible alternator problem if turning on the ignition produces a whining sound, but you have a newer battery. If the alternator is bad, it will not charge the battery when you drive the car. You can use jumper cables and another battery to start the car, but the same problem will occur again. Have the alternator checked and replaced if necessary.
Step 4: Consider a possible starter problem
Consider a possible starter problem. If you hear a click when you turn on the ignition and the problem is not due to your battery, the starter's solenoid may have a weak spot inside. If so, the starter will not be able to produce enough current to start your engine, and you will have to have it replaced.
Step 5: Visit a mechanic
Visit a mechanic if you're having trouble determining the sound your car is making. It's always better to be safe than sorry!

General description of starters and common issues. This is a short clip sharing my experience with starting problems, however there are many variables associated with a starting problem itself. Check out my video also on Heated Oxygen Sensors when encountered with codes P0134 or P0135.

Annoying Starting Problem -- Clio 1.2 Litre 16v extreme
Got this starting problem with my 2002 Renault clio 1.2L 16v extreme.
The battery is brand new as you can hear it turns it over really easily! However the car refuses to fire up. Very strange because sometimes the car will start first time... other times its like this and i managed to film it, this was a cold start and once the car has been driven it will always start nicely later that day.
Anyone got ANY ideas whats going wrong... ? Any help much appreciated!
