Test Drive the 1974 Ford Capri V8!

Hi! This is Agent 8771's 1974 Ford Capri, featuring a high-output 302 V8 and Borg-Warner T5 transmission hooked to a Ford 9 inch positraction rear. This car originally had the wheezy Pinto 2000 cc engine and 4 speed trans, so it is much better now. A nice, original, rust-free unit brought up from the States to save it from the recyclers yard. Sweet vintage aluminum slot mags, nerf bars, and diamond-tuft package tray finish this Capri off in classic 70's style! Hope you like it as much as I do!

Capri V8 Update and More Tire Abuse!
Hi! Just a short video to show some of the updates to Agent 8771's 1974 Ford Capri. He built a roller-cam 5.0 litre with aluminum heads and a little more cam to add to the fun. We also did the "RS" paint job to the hood and tops of the fenders and replaced the bent hood with a nice straight one. Lots of tuning and detail work has resulted in a super fun, reliable Capri that will destroy tires all day long.





Capri 2.0S cosworth, 0-200 km/h and 100-230 km/h
This is my old capri 2.0S with cosworth 2.0 YB engine, t5 gearbox and atlas 3.44 + zf motorsport lsd rear axle. Earlier the engine gave 364 hp but after rebuild with wrc-pistons, long H-profile rods, ported head + bd16 cams it has not been Dynoed yet. Let´s see after turbo swap. The guitar player is my relative. His playing and this Deep Purple`s old song sounds good to me and hope you like it too.

Zakspeed Ford Turbo Capri
Zakspeed Ford turbo Capri beim AvD Oldtimer GP 2012 auf dem Nürburgring. Peter Zakowski fährt das Original Meisterschaftsauto von 1981, mit dem Klaus Ludwig damals gewann. Das Fahrzeug ist mit dem kleinen Motor der Division 2 bestückt mit 1,4l Hubraum. In beiden Rennen sah Zakowski die Zielflagge wegen technischer Probleme nicht. Im Rennen 1 bedrängt er Oliver Mathai im Porsche 935 und im Rennen 2 räumt er binnen kürzester Zeit das Feld von hinten auf. Sowohl nach dem Training als auch nach dem ersten Rennen wurde am Fahrzeug umfangreich gearbeitet. Der Ladedruck ist noch nicht eingestellt und deshalb hat P.Zakowski die Hand häufiger mal am "Dampfrad". Vom turbo Capri wurden insgesamt fünf Fahrzeuge gebaut. Ein Fahrzeug wurde zerstört, eines zu einem Mustang umgebaut, ein Fahrzeug wurde von Herbert Stenger bei Bergrennen eingesetzt, ein Fahrzeug baut Stefan Mücke in Berlin wieder auf und hier eben das 1981er Meisterschaftsauto bei Zakspeed. onboard race1 at 05:35 onboard race 2 at 12:14

1981 Ford Capri 2.3 V6 cold start in winter
Auf mehrfachen Wunsch die deutsche Übersetzung: Hier seht ihr meinen 1981er Ford Capri, er verfügt über einen 2.3 Liter V6 Vergaser-Motor. Das Fahrzeug hat eine Automatische Choke-Vorrichting, was bedeutet, daß man bei Kälte keinen Knopf ziehen muß so wie bei früheren Vergaser Motoren. Zweimaliges drücken des Gaspedas sollte den automatischen Vergaser aktivieren (hat hier anscheinend nicht so funktionert) Ich finde das Fahrzeug hat einen tollen Sound verglichen mit den heutigen Autos. He doesn't throw it into reverse, as many erroneously believe. It's this type of stop I demonstrate here.
