Zakspeed Ford Turbo Capri
Zakspeed Ford turbo Capri beim AvD Oldtimer GP 2012 auf dem Nürburgring. Peter Zakowski fährt das Original Meisterschaftsauto von 1981, mit dem Klaus Ludwig damals gewann. Das Fahrzeug ist mit dem kleinen Motor der Division 2 bestückt mit 1,4l Hubraum. In beiden Rennen sah Zakowski die Zielflagge wegen technischer Probleme nicht. Im Rennen 1 bedrängt er Oliver Mathai im Porsche 935 und im Rennen 2 räumt er binnen kürzester Zeit das Feld von hinten auf. Sowohl nach dem Training als auch nach dem ersten Rennen wurde am Fahrzeug umfangreich gearbeitet. Der Ladedruck ist noch nicht eingestellt und deshalb hat P.Zakowski die Hand häufiger mal am "Dampfrad". Vom turbo Capri wurden insgesamt fünf Fahrzeuge gebaut. Ein Fahrzeug wurde zerstört, eines zu einem Mustang umgebaut, ein Fahrzeug wurde von Herbert Stenger bei Bergrennen eingesetzt, ein Fahrzeug baut Stefan Mücke in Berlin wieder auf und hier eben das 1981er Meisterschaftsauto bei Zakspeed. onboard race1 at 05:35 onboard race 2 at 12:14

Hi people, here is our very first video. its our 1979 3.0s ford capri mk 3 doing some 0 - 60 times at the silverstone ford fair. the car was fully restored 3 years ago and has been used nearly everyday since. its not meant to be a race car, however the 0-60 just sounded too fun to turn down. This was filmed using a GEDV1 or GE-DV1 / GE - DV1 full HD 720p 30 fps from in car view. onboard capri dashboard view no vibration. Mein Capri Sound 1985...
Damals hatte ich nur Fächerkrümmer und die ESD bearbeitet, für einen V6 mit nur 2,3 Liter war der Sound nicht übel zu der Zeit. Mir ging es vor allem um den Leerlaufsound ähnlich eines V8 ab 1:14 sehr gut zu hören. Leider kam da ein Escort Diesel dazwischen, aber man erkennt es trotzdem noch gut. wenn ich mir vorstelle, dass so ein Nummernschildhalter in den 80er Jahren modern war....ts ts..





Ford Capri Mk1 - 160 Hp - Pinto Race Engine
My Capri mk1 GT with Pinto engine and Brainless Exhaust System 3" Selfmade with Hks Muffler and Fk dumper and Magnaflow with Race Headers. Sounds great for an Pinto OHC Engine. Stainless Steel. The engine is modified by my self and have a lot of horsepower. Never was on the roll, but i Dragraced again a Bmw E36 325 with 192Hp and I was faster by 1 second on the 1/4 Mile. Crazy Sound with Wheelspin in 2. Gear. On the Hockenheim Race Track the car beats a Maserati Biturbo and some old Porsche 911. The Car is Street Legal. Tyres are Federal SS595 with 205/60 R13 - great tyres for a good price. In future the car maybe become a capri turbo with a k04 turbocharger. The engine is a ohc pinto like in the escort mk2 rs2000 rally cars. but no 16v cosworth engine and no 1800rs. It could be good to drive rallyes too to be an rally car. the cars weight is only 890kg ;-) so the handling is really great! I wishI could buy the Federal 595 RS-R in the right dimension.
