You can also check for fuel pressure by pressing in on the Shrader valve on the fuel rail. If you put 12 volts directly to the pump and it won't turn on, then you either have a bad fuel pump or a bad ground circuit.

No Start, Diagnostic Basics - EricTheCarGuy
This video is a response to the Honda Main Relay video that I did. I've had a couple of people come to me with questions about no start conditions and how they should go about fixing them. This video is a starting point to a series that I plan to cover on this subject. The point I make in the video over and over is, don't make assumptions. Assumptions get expensive and can frustrate you to the point of homicide, follow these simple tips and it will lead you down the path of success.

Here is a GREAT website article about soldering these I strongly suggest you check this out before doing this repair.

The first of the "Quick Tips". I think I'm going to throw one of these in from time to time to keep things lively. So if you have a Honda or Acura that is not starting DUE TO LOSS OF FUEL PRESSURE this is a good place to start. You may be able to repair the main relay normally found under the dash on the drivers side. If this helps great remember me fondly and pass my name along because I just saved you at the very least about $80, at the most $200.
I will be upgrading my website very soon, in fact I will post a video when it is up. Cool new things on the horizon for ETCG and YOU the viewer. So if you want take a look at the old site because it's days are numbered.

Quick Tip-Throttle Cleaning - EricTheCarGuy
This one goes out to BowlingBallOut who posted a question about a sticky throttle on his Saturn. It was a great question so I decided to make this video in response to it. There are many different configurations of throttle assemblies but for the most part if you have a throttle that is sticking you might be able to fix it using the procedures in this video. I am aware you may not able to purchase spray throttle cleaner in some states now but I'm sure they have some alternative available at your local parts store.
