6.2L Supercharged V8 556hp
Short vid vs a buddys Cadillac CTS-V. The videos got cut a little short on
all the runs but i did the best i can to edit them all together. Both cars
on pump gas HPF car using Methanol with 3 ppl in the car CTS-V 2 ppl in the
Corvette C5/C6 Front Shock Removal
Removal of the front shocks.
2x13mm bolt/nut on lower control arm
1x15mm nut on shock stem.
Lisle 20400 tool recommended for removal of stem nut. (I show in the video
how to use the tool)
Definitely need to move wheel speed sensor harness to get at lower shock
bolt on each side.
For driver's side, removal of coolant overflow tank is required. (2x10mm
For passenger side, may be able to move fuse box to get a better wrench
swing. (C6 only, no reference for C5)
Note, this was performed on an 09 Z06. Non-Z06s and other years may have
