В 1971 году кузов стал иметь более округлые "флюзеляжи". Дизайн соответствовал действующими традициями Chrysler`s стиля.
Кабриолет больше не выпускается. Общая длина кузова была сокращена, а колесная была даже увеличена для лучшей управляемости и устойчивости в поворотах. Аэродинамика, за счет более плавных линий улучшилась, как и ее производная - скорость, но разгон пострадал, частично из-за меньшей компрессии двигателей.

1969 440 Roadrunner Flexin Some Mopar Muscle!
Just playing around with a couple gears. The ignition was malfunctioning, not to mention bad shifting. Getting used to the hydraulic clutch and 5 speed. More to come with the new ignition.

1969 Plymouth RoadRunner Hemi (Clone)
This car started out as a 383 Road Runner and now has a custom built 426 Hemi mill that relies on a pair of Edlebrock 500 CFM carburetors mounted to a MOPAR Performance intake to fee it. Just off a rotisserie restoration, everything about this car is new. This is a restoration featuring factory correct gold paint, Hurst 4 speed shifter and red stripe bias ply tires and of course, Road Runner badging (Coyote Duster on the air cleaner included).
