1965 Chevelle Engine Upgrades V8TV
http://www.v8tvshow.com - Our '65 Chevelle drove in on a low-performance 350 cubic inch Chevy replacement engine that was reported to have less than 10,000 miles on it. Initially, we contemplated doing a late-model EFI swap on this car, but then we thought we'd take a look at what we had and see what kind of shape it was in. Turns out that the 350 is a parts-store type replacement engine with 4-bolt mains and a very clean bottom end. The cast iron heads and cam were not very exciting, so we used the Dynomation engine simulation software to whip up a new recipe. In this installment, we clean up the engine, repaint the short block, and install a new Comp Cams Xtreme Energy cam, lifters, timing set, new Holley performance aluminum cylinder heads, a Weiand Action Plus intake manifold, an MSD Pro-Billet distributor, some Flowtech headers, and a Holley 670 Street Avenger camshaft. Some of the parts we already had like the MSD unit, the intake, and the carb, but the cam and heads are new. Here's how it went.
1000 HP 1963 Chevy Nova SS - A Day At The Track V8TV
http://www.v8tvshow.com - Joe Kosiba is one of those guys who likes to keep his stuff in order. His house and truck are always spotless, and his garage is so clean it could double as a showroom. We've often found that shops that are too clean never see any work, but Joe also knows how to get things done. Take his '63 Nova, for example. He's owned it for a long time, and it has gone through several transformations over the years, resulting in the car you see in this video. Today it's an arrow-straight street / strip terror that makes around 1000 horsepower from a small block sucking Nitrous Oxide. In this video, Joe takes the car to the World Street Challenge to run in the Wild Street class where you have to drive the car 30 miles, then run back-to-back dragstrip passes to qualify. Joe's Nova ended up winning the class with low 9-second quarter mile passes at around 150 miles per hour. If you ask Joe, it's just good clean fun. You can also see this car featured in the May, 2009, Car Craft Magazine.
Turbo "S71" Olds Engine Build Video BTR Performance Part 4 V8TV
http://www.v8tvshow.com/enginedvd - This is the fourth in a multi-part series covering the custom 422 cubic-inch stroker engine build performed by master engine builder Bill Trovato at BTR Performance for our turbocharged 1971 Olds project called the "S71". In this installment, Trovato installs the piston rings on the pistons and installs the pistons and rods on the crankshaft. Although this video series features and Olds engine, the valuable, race-proven techniques shown by Trovato apply to any performance engine build.

Twin Turbo Ferrari Testarossa on Engine Dyno
Twin turbo Ferrari Testarossa on Engine Dyno. The motor is a 4.9L flat 12 which has been upgraded with EFI via a Bigstuff3 PRO SEFI ECM and twin Precision turboturbochargers. At this stage the motor is running 6psi Boost and has no internal modifications. We ran it from 3500rpm to 7500rpm and it produced 650hp and 600lbs*ft of torque. Enjoy!
Also I just posted a new video on my channel showing a walk around of the car with some of the new wheels and brakes mocked up on it. If you guys are interested check it out there.

The Dyno Destroyer. Mirror Image Turbo 632 2200 HP BBC. Tom Nelson. Nelson Racing Engines.
This beast broke the NRE $ 60,000.00 Dyno! Not a good thing, but what a beast! NRE's Tom Nelson explains this new engine and runs several Dyno pulls. Amazing! More information can be found at the NRE's web sites, http://nelsonracingengines.com and http://nelsonsupercars.com. Also go to http://VeritasMovieStudio.com.
Real Horses...
Anytime you take a couple F2 chargers feeding a whole bunch of cubes and add methanol even on only half of max Boost it is quite a show.. Intake gasket that didn't want to play cut the day short. Around 1,600whp through an auto! Lots left in the car and the Dyno. Over 1K ftlbs by 4 thousand... Easily the new top HP record for the Dyno without even trying yet. Had manners like a street car just a bit more bark.
Built by Mark Werdehausen of Tydo racecars. A few of the components came from Taliaferro machine shop. On the Superflow Autodyn 30 in springfield, Mo.
NRE Encounters Black Hole While Testing Engine. 2500 HP 632CI BBC. Nelson Racing Engines. Camaro.
This is an unusual NRE Dyno room visit. First, this beast broke the Dyno again. Second, this engine is one of the meanist engines Tom has ever designed. Tom has to go to extreme measures to test this extreme horsepower engine. Then there is the issue of the encounter with the Black Hole. Man that is crazy! The City of Chatsworth seems to have questions. Its not our fault! We usually upload new videos on Friday when available so you can look for them. The uploader in chief is out of town this Friday. Look for a new car video on friday about two weeks from now. More information can be found at http://nelsonracingengines.com as well as http://nelsonsupercars.com. For media production go to http://VeritasMovieStudio.com. Take a look on Google for, TRYHRD Australia, our Customer's beast.
