Toyota Tacoma Tour 2016 Montréal
This is very very bad quality video folks... sorry. I didn't think to allow for glare where I was shooting inside the truck, and the sunlight across the lens protector washed out much of the film. I am only uploading it for those of you who are curious what the 2016 Toyota Tacoma will be like, as I had the opportunity to see this pre-production model at the Toyota Tacoma Tour 2016 event in Montréal.
Turbo Exhaust Whistle Test
Here is a test of the turbo Exhaust whistle on my Ford Focus. The turbo Exhaust whistle is supposed to make a regular car sound like it has a turbocharger on it. The turbo Exhaust whistle fits inside of the Exhaust tip on a car, and it makes a whistling noise when you rev up the engine. You can buy a turbo Exhaust whistle for less than ten dollars on eBay. Watch this video review of the turbo Exhaust whistle to see if you need one.
Rod Millen's Pikes Peak Toyota Tacoma & Celica
Rod Millen's Toyotas Tacoma and Celica, at Goodwood festival of speed. The Tacoma Pikes Peak was buildt in 1998 and can hit 60 MPH in 1.6 seconds thanks to a 1,000 HP 2.1-liter engine; 125 MPH in 4.9 seconds. The Celica has about the same engine, with a little less power (probably around 850 hp), witch makes it more driveable; this is the car that allowed Rod Millen to set the record of the 156 turn, 12.42 mile (19.99 kilometer) Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 1994, with the time of 10:04:06, unbeateable untill 2007, when Monster Tajima beaten it with his Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak. Both Toyotas are of course four wheel drive, with turbo and Intercooler, and weight less than 900 kilos (2000 lbs).
