In 1964 Pontiac was making power and cool rides and this Tempest wagon is no different. Once it probably hauled kids around but now it is a custom cruiser. Painted in a two tone white with burgundy top matching the custom burgundy interior with an AM/FM/CD radio to pump plenty of tunes. Powering this wagon is a 326ci V8 with a powerglide out to a 9" Ford rear end with a 3.50:1 rear gear. Adding to the creature comforts are AC, cloth interior, tinted windows, power front disc brakes and power steering. Riding on 15" Weld wheels with 215/65/R15 in the front and 255/70/R15 radial tires. 1963 Pontiac LeMans Rare 4 Cylinder Four Barrel Four-speed 3.73 Posi - Half of a 389 V8
I thought you might like a look at this very unique 1963 Pontiac LeMans.
It's powered by a 194.5 Cubic Inch 45 Degree Four Cylinder, topped with a 4
BBL Carb, and running through dual Exhaust. Pontiac, basically cut a 389 V8 in
half...in fact, it uses the same head as the 389 and the 421. In this case,
the four cylinder is backed by a four-speed manual and a set of 3.73 Gears
with Posi. As you can see, it really is a great looking car and would look
right at home on the dragstrip in the 1960's. I hope you find it
interesting, thanks for taking a look!

Instruments: Guitar, Bass, Kit, Organ, EP
With a jumping bass and off-beat syncopation, this is straight from
Memphis' Beale Street. The Hammond organ and electric guitar play together
as longtime friends, while the melody changes hands from guitar to organ to
electric piano. 011

Pontiac Banshee A Longer Look
The Banshee was a vision for what the Firebird could become. Of course,
this concept car could never be built exactly, too low on the road and it
wouldn't pass the safety and crash tests, but it was exciting. It
demonstrated that the problem with GM cars didn't sit on the designers'
shoulders. They were more than capable of dreaming up engaging and fun
vehicles that would set imaginations on fire.
1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk
Probably one of the proudest, best expressions of Studebaker Packard! The
styling is a nice derivative of Lowey's coupe of 1953...but it has just the
right styling to make it stand out as a performance car. A supercharged
Studebaker V8 engine added just the right punch!
Wide-Track: 1959 Bonneville - /BIG MUSCLE
• Chuck Cushner
Slathered in Lamborghini orange paint and exuding a presence that is
anything but subtle, this 1959 Bonneville is a car that represents a peak
time in American automotive design. It was drafted before government
mandates and regulations stifled imagination and creativity, and takes us
back to an era when we still looked to the stars for inspiration. This is a
car that will stop you dead in your tracks and make you truly long for the
days when chrome was King, gas was a mere .25¢ per gallon, and where Elvis
Presley was the greatest thing the public had ever heard.
1964 Pontiac Catalina Safari Stationwagon Blu
You want to put excitement in your driving...try this 389 c.i. tri-power
with manual four on the floor! This is a real sleeper..an auction car at
Zephyrhills. A/C makes it practical year round, Note the rear facing
third seat, a common practice at the time. It helped eliminate the problem
of getting past the second seat to get to the back, but was a trade off in
that it required you to board via the tailgate. Used most likely by small
children or pets...makes you wonder about the safety of that arrangement!

floors are solid and rust free. The car starts, runs and drives perfectly.
It is mechanically sound and can be driven anywhere. New Coker wide white
72 Pontiac LeMans
My brother and sister inlaw making the video for me
This is still a work in progress. I still need to do the dash cover and
front, i need to install a different fuel pump (the one i have now is way
too loud), need to fit a rear valance, adjust the Exhaust tips, get bigger wheels ang install posi
traction. ...i think thats all.
I took out the original engine and installed a 406 chevy small block with
460HP with an R6 tranny. New carpet and re-upholstered leather seats and
Installed new gauges
1972 Pontiac LeMans Sport - Test drive
I pick out this 72 Lemans for a friend of mine in Norway. He wanted to take
a 3 week American Holiday Cruise with his family in California, Nevada and
Arizona.. I had less than a month to find a decent "collector car" that
would not fail him out on this vacation drive in June. I found this car
that had been pretty well cared for and freshened up by the ASE Certified
Mechanic owner. The Pontiac 350 has been replaced with a Chevy 350. It has
headers, Flowmaster Exhaust, recent
interior, vinyl top and all new weatherstrips. It did GREAT on the tour!
Now it is For Sale, but if not sold will be shipped to my guy in Norway. If
you are interested in buying the car for 8500, hurry-- If it is to be
shipped over, I need to do it in the next couple months.
PONTIAC - stock Pontiac Super Duty 421v8/405hp vs stock Chevy 409v8/409hp on DYNO
WATCH THE VID TO SEE HOW CLOSE THEY Dyno TO THEIR FACTORY
405hp/409hp ratings. Growing up.....Pontiac/Oldsmobile old timers/EXPERTS
who taught me most of what I know, often told me Chevy rated their horsepower in a more
optimistic way than say Oldsmobile or Pontiac. I've even heard Pontiac
rated/tested their engines in a 100 degree room, compared to Chevy in a 60
degree room. These Dyno results seem to reflect
that some of what I heard was true. Both of these engines are great, but
the results do seem to show that Pontiac was not rating their horsepower worrying if it
would cause "songs to be written" about their engines .... like the great
song "She's real fine my 409"--(Chevy).
