This is a quick video of my '78 Trans Am that I swapped a LS1/4L60E combo into. It has a Pro-TouringF-Body.com suspension with DSE Control Arms and lots of other goodies. I am working on a shaker base for her and am in the process of doing the body work. I'll update it as I can...and I know, horrible quality in the video. It was done with an older Digital Camera video function...its bad.

This is a video a friend and I took of his families 1978 Trans Am, they bought this car as rust bucket pretty much, and completely restored it themselves. The engine is a 455 c.i. V8, posi rear end, 3 speed automatic.
4L60E reaction sun gear and pinion damage
This is from a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 work truck. I pulled this transmission out of the vehicle on Sunday 1/23/2011. This type of damage occurs when the vehicle operator places the transmission into reverse while the vehicle is in forward motion. A great reason to make sure your car is stopped first, before putting it in reverse.
