My new Demo car for 2012. This is an update to show a little more of what I
have done. I will post more videos of what I am doing to build up the car.

How To Replace Front Wheel Bearing & Hub - Ford Escort ZX2
This video covers how to replace the front wheel bearing & hub on a 2003
Ford Escort ZX2. It is an in-depth guide on how to do this job without the
need for power or air tools. This video also applies to other Ford Escort
models & years.
This is a friend of a friends car. My friend was driving down the road and
"suddenly" heard a loud grinding noise. He pulled over, pulled the wheel
off, and noticed the spindle nut had spun off and the wheel hub was
extremely loose. When I showed up with my tools the hub came off in my hand
and some balls from inside the bearing came out with it. Luckily he didn't
crash because the only thing holding the wheel on the car was the caliper
around the rotor. The bearing & hub were clearly shot. My theory about what
caused this is that the spindle nut wasn't installed to the proper torque
at some point, which caused the wheel bearing to prematurely fail ruining
the hub along with it. The spindle nut worked its way loose due to heat
cycling & excess vibrations, compounding the bearing problem. That's my

more fuel...afr around 13.7 from 5800 up...ouch. will Dyno again with #36 injectors

The Mark I Ford Escort was introduced in the United Kingdom at the end of
1967, making its show debut at Brussels Motor Show in January 1968. It
replaced the successful long running Anglia. The car was presented in
continental Europe as a product of Ford's European operation. Escort
production commenced at Halewood in England during the closing months of
1967, and for left hand drive markets during September 1968 at the Ford
plant in Genk. Initially the continental Escorts differed slightly from
the UK built ones under the skin. The front suspension and steering gear
were differently configured and the brakes were fitted with dual hydraulic
circuits; also the wheels fitted on the Genk-built Escorts had wider
rims. At the beginning of 1970, continental European production
transferred to a new plant on the edge of Saarlouis, West Germany.
The 2.0 L RS2000 version, with its distinctively slanted polyurethane nose,
and featuring the Pinto engine from the Cortina, was announced in the UK in
March 1975 and introduced in Germany in August 1975, being reportedly
produced in both countries. It provided a claimed 110 bhp and a top speed
of 110 mph (177 km/h). For acceleration to 100 km/h (62.5 mph) a time of
just 8.9 seconds was claimed by the manufacturers.

2013 Thunder Road M&M Beverage Enduro #42 In-Car
Paul Dudley's 98 Ford Escort ZX2 from the Lightning McQueen themed 42 car
of Dudley's Driving Academy. Came in 85th place!
I completed 34 laps total, and learned an important lesson: don't neglect
to put decent brakes on the car, you'll need em. Probably a good idea to
make sure they work BEFORE race day too.
Watch at the 6:10 mark as the 37 car takes me out from behind and then
immediately gets pummeled by the wreck he created.
It also knocked off my serpentine belt, leading to the end of my race
without a working water pump.
Oh well, Beverly got 10th!!!!
