65 Mustang Fastback Restoration Project
This is my 1965 Mustang
Fastback I rescued from a field rusting away. I finished it around July of
2008 in my back yard garage with no professional assistance at all. It took
me about 26 months to complete. It has a 302 Ford motor and an 5 Speed
manual transmission. I restored this car to the information on the original
data plate on the door that included the body color and interior. The
stripe is unique in that I added a darker red to the Poppy Red body color
to get a stripe that is a little darker but blends in with the factory
color. This car features four wheel disc brakes made from all Ford parts.
1970 Ford Mustang Mach I Fastback 351C Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Review
Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! YouTube's largest collection of automotive
variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth
look at the 1970 Ford Mustang Mach I. Initially debuting in
1969 and coming equipped with a 351 windsor v8, 1970 saw the introduction
of the 351 cleveland v8. The body styling changed ever so slightly but it
remained quite an aggressive Mustang. Race inspired looks and
traditional muscle car power and performance. The Mach I is quite an
awesome car with Mustang
enthusiasts, and what better one to see, than an original! During this
presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all
about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the
occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use
most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that
before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout
the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the
vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast
car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and Exhaust note with interior and exterior
perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a
greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will
find in depth reviews/tour of automobiles from all over the world,
presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this
gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you
can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is
consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my
presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960
Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of
vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of
the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new,
exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have
built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted
to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be
sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's
Seat of YouTube!

All of this Mustangs solid
panels were stripped to bare metal and thoroughly worked to transform it
from a nice piece of machinery into a trophy winning piece of art. Once
that canvas was as close to perfect as possible, and displayed excellent
fit and finish, a dynamic coat of Raven Black urethane was expertly

Pull the pins on this awesome Mustangs solid steel hood and you'll
find an 800 horsepower, 557 cubic inch
Jon Kaase V8 which twists out 750 lb./ft. of torque and wears some of the
best aftermarket components on the planet. At the top of the engine, a
bright blue air cleaner feeds a chrome 1050cfm Holley carburetor through a
K&N reusable filter which sits just inside the cars fully functional hood
scoop. Below that carburetor, a silver powder coated Jon Kaase alloy intake
is bolted between Kaase Boss 9 aluminum heads which have been fitted with
silver powder coated "Boss 557" valve covers and finished with chrome K&N
crankcase breathers. Below those heads, 10.4 to 1 pistons combine with a
roller cam to create explosive combustion; and in front of those heads, a
reliable points distributor sends fire through blue Jon Kaase racing wires
which have been fitted with MSD end caps. At the sides of the block, custom
2.25 inch Metalcrafters ceramic coated headers send vaporized dinosaurs
into a brutal sounding Exhaust system.
And at the front of the block, a Billet Specialties Tru Trac serpentine
system spins a chrome alternator and a high performance aluminum water pump
behind a full array of billet pulleys and a proven Be Cool aluminum
Behind the big 557, a fresh Tremec TKO500 5-speed manual transmission turns
a traditional nine inch Ford rear end which has been equipped with a
Detroit Locker center section, a Fab 9 housing and seat bending 3.90 gears.
Holding that driveline off the ground is a Heidts front and rear suspension
which includes polished tubular control arms and polished tie rod ends up
front, polished coil over shocks at all four corners, and Raven Black sway
bars at both ends of the car. After Metalcrafters installed the suspension,
they stiffened the frame by grafting Heidts subframe connectors into the
floor; and fabricated a custom Exhaust
system which sends spent gases from a ceramic coated H-pipe to either
mufflers with ceramic coated tail pipes or electronically activated cut
outs. Step on the throttle and a polished fuel tank supplies gas to a
finned electric fuel pump and fresh stainless fuel lines. Step on the
brakes and four wheel electronically assisted Wilwood power discs provide
serious resistance for the serious motor. All that stop and go flows
through 15 inch chrome Magnum 500 wheels that are wrapped in 215/70 front
and 275/60 rear BF Goodrich Radial T/As.
Peer inside this awesome '69 Mustang and you'll find a black and
silver interior that is, like the rest of the car, an exceptional mix of
both vintage and modern pieces. The seats are thick units which wear
traditional Clarion Knit covers under two piece racing belts. And the
like-new dual cowl dash holds a custom silver instrument panel with a full
assortment of Auto Meter Phantom gauges above an MP3 compatible Sony Xplod
CD player. Below the dash, a custom black and silver center console,
courtesy of the guys at Metalcrafters, holds a traditional chrome Hurst
shifter between Auto Meter auxiliary gauges and switches for the cars power
windows. And above the seats, a heavy duty vinyl headliner hangs over a
solid Metalcrafters roll bar which runs from the kick panels all the way to
the rear hatch. In front of the driver, a chrome Grant GT steering wheel is
bolted to a tilt steering column which is complete with a billet aluminum
hub and billet stalks. And Behind the cockpit, Infinity Kappa speakers hang
over a custom upholstered trunk which displays a cool satin finished "Boss

► Audi's automatic driving for parking
Audi's automatic parking systems operate by means of either ultrasound or
cameras, which display images via the onboard monitor. One particularly
convenient solution is park assist. When backing into a parking space, it
performs all the necessary steering movements; it can handle both parallel
parking and parking perpendicular to the street. The system finds a parking
space with ultrasound sensors that scan the roadside in two dimensions
while driving at moderate speed. The system notifies the driver via a
message in the display once the sensors have found a space which is large
If the driver wishes to park in the space, he or she shifts into reverse
and the park assist system takes over the steering. The driver must
accelerate, shift gears, and brake. When parallel parking, the detected
space is large enough if it is about 80 centimeters (2.62 ft) longer than
the vehicle itself. Park assist can perform multi-point parking maneuvers
and also offers support in leaving parallel parking spaces.
Another technology from Audi is the parking system plus with surround view
cameras. Four small cameras -- in the single-frame grille, at the rear and
in the side mirror housings -- record the vehicle's immediate surroundings.
The driver can call up a variety of views on the large onboard monitor,
including a top-down virtual view. On corners or junctions with an
obstructed view, the system can analyze cross-traffic otherwise invisible
to the driver in front of or behind the vehicle.
