Dodge Hellcat-Viper-Hellcat Thrash Battle! - Roadkill Ep. 38
Roadkill is now powered by Dodge! To kick off the sponsorship, Finnegan and
Freiburger called for some brand new 2015 supercars: the 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger
SRT Hellcat and Charger SRT Hellcat, plus a 645-horsepower Dodge Viper GT.
Why? For an epic thrash, of course! This video has more tire smoke than
you've ever seen from these cars, plus a big, irresponsible surprise at a
motocross track. There are guest spots from Carlos Lago from Motor Trend,
Fred Williams from Dirt Every Day, and pro drifter Tony Angelo. None of
these guys should have been handed the keys. And by the way, we used the
Hellcat red keys the whole time.
Roadkill appears every fourth Friday on the Motor Trend channel.

Dodge Challenger Drag Car 4 Speed Huntsville
This is a 71 Dodge Challenger. Has gone 5.79 @119 in the 1/8th with a 1.17

it could be watched in Hi Quality.
DIYAutoTune.com / NHR 'MegaManiac' Drag Pak Challenger Build Video
The New Hemi Racing (NHR) 09 Drag Pak Challenger was wired, fired, tuned,
and tested here at http://DIYAutoTune.com
Car is a 2009 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak car (#24). 6.1 Hemi. Built 904
trans. Weighs 3130 lbs give or take a couple.
This video highlights the MegaSquirt EFI Installation, full
quick-disconnect engine harness build, the chassis wiring, switches, etc.
Next it shows a cool time-lapse of the vinyl wrap process. If you've never
seen a car being wrapped that's definitely cool to watch.
Finally we have a Dyno
pull and the maiden voyage down the track. It's a soft pass with an easy
launch and Chris gets out of it at about the 1000', but this was the first
day the car had moved under it's own power, just shaking it out. That's
the only pass this car has made as of today (until Thursday of this week)
and we didn't get a time slip due to someone tripping the lights prior to
the run, but the car ran clean and straight.
For anyone not familiar with the Dodge / Mopar Drag Pak Challenger, google
them and you'll learn a good bit about the history of these cars. They are
basically factory built race cars, pulled off the line early 'body in
white' leaving much of the car unfinished so that it can be finished at
another facility. Then the owner finishes the car out. This is car number
24 as shown on the plate right at the beginning of the video, they wil
likely make as many as 100 each year.
Last time Drag Pak cars were built was 1968.
This car will be running the NHRA Full Throttle and Lucas Oil series this
year in Stock Eliminator, look for it on ESPN2 if they show the Stock
Eliminator cars sometime, hopefully we'll get a little love there. We'll
be running along with the likes of Jon Irving, Don Garlits, Jeg Coughlin,
and John Force, as well as several other very successful racers/teams.
Should be fun ;).
We'll soon have an info page up at http://www.DIYAutoTune.com with more
pics/details of the car. (Check the 'The Cars' link from the home page.)
You can also follow the NHR blog on the build and racing season at

2011 Dodge Charger RT Mopar Design Limited Edition Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Tour
In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 Dodge Charger RT
Mopar Design. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and
exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and
noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine
and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under
acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a
greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
2011 Mopar Challenger V10 Drag Pak
In 2009 and 2010, Dodge released a special edition Challenger called the
Drag Pak. Both editions sold out fast so the Mopar boys are building
another one for 2011. If the '09 and '10 models went quick, this one is
going to be gone before you're done reading this paragraph.
Instead of sticking with the 6.1-liter Hemi V8 used last year, the 2011
Mopar Challenger Drag Pak crams a 512-cubic inch, 8.4-liter V10 engine and
mates it to a two-speed automatic transmission. If those engine numbers
sound familiar, and they should, it's because that's the same unit used in
the Dodge Viper -- which produces 600 horsepower and 560
pound-feet of torque.
Go back and re-read that last line -- Viper-V10 powered. Drag-race ready.
Besides the massive mill, this Mopar Challenger Drag Pak also features
everything you need to start your professional drag racing career. Get your
reading glasses out because there's a long list of features, some of which
we've highlighted below (the rest can be seen after the jump):
512 cid V-10 engine
2-speed automatic transmission with shift assembly and built-in roll
Special body-in-white modified for drag racing
Complete fuel cell assembly
Polycarbonate door windows
Lightweight drag-race only front brake assembly
Race-style wheels and tires
Only 70 units will be produced and they'll each have a starting MSRP of
$85,512. There are also three available optional packages for the car. The
Competition Package costs $7,950 and adds an eight-point roll cage,
six-point safety harness and a mesh window net. The Mopar Body Logo Wrap
will cost you $950. Finally, there is a range of available body colors if
you don't like the Bright White paint scheme, and they run $6,800.
The 2011 Mopar Challenger V10 Drag Pak will make its debut at the upcoming
2010 SEMA Show in early November. Since there are only going to be 70 made,
that may be the last time you see one unless you run down to your local
Dodge dealer and fill out an application to own one.
