Pro Truck National Ice Exhibition at Anchor Bay
Richard's Auto Parts held a little exhibition in Anchor Bay, Michigan. We
didn't know what to expect, I don't think they did either. ;We were treated
to a great test and tune show from BAD Company team members Mike Page and
Ben Dozeman. They brought along some friends and then those familiar quads
showed up and strutted their stuff.

247kmh/154mph ice speed record - Hayabusa - Speed Weekend 2009
This video was sent to us by a speed freak.
It shows the record run that Peter Vestman did on his Suzuki Hayabusa
during the Speed Weekend on ice 26-28 march 2009. The event was held on the
frozen lake in little village Ljusnedal in Sweden. The event was all about
getting as high avarage speed as possible on the so called "flying
kilometer" (drinking beer and having fun also).
The camera that was used is a POV.1,5. You can buy it on sportscam.se
Peter had a tyre explosion at 240km/h on one of his previous runs, but that
didn´t stop him. It´s not all about how fast your bike is. It´s more
about how fast you have the guts to go... Peter got an avarage speed of
247,81km/h wich is 154mph. Elapsed time between the two measurment points
is 14,52 seconds. Pretty damn fast! And remember, it is all on ice with
studded tyres... Look for the start and stop marks on the sides of the
track. Those are measuring equipment sensors. Hold on and enjoy"
