How To Pull Honda Codes Without a Scanner -EricTheCarGuy
Link to code explanations: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/hondaacura-obd-i-codes-1992-1995 Honda ABS Codes 1994-1997: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/honda-abs-codes-1994-to-1997 Honda ABS Codes 1998 and up: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/honda-abs-codes-1998-to-now Visit me at: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/ Discussion about this Video: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/component/kunena/18-The-EricTheCarGuy-Video-Fo rum/34741-Pulling-Honda-Codes-Without-a-Scanner?Itemid=0#34741 I feel like I should have made this video a while ago but the opportunity never came up. Since I had this RL in my shop that had a check engine light AND an ABS light I thought it was a perfect opportunity to put this video together. I get asked all the time about my 'special tool' and it's really nothing more than a Honda 2 pin connector with the input wires soldered together. These connectors might be harder to find than you think but if you run across a junk honda and one of these is on the harness grab it. Even if you don't have the tool a paper clip or piece of wire will do the exact same thing so don't sweat it if you don't have the tool because shorting the connector is all you need to do. I hope you find this video helpful. Honda idle problem
My 92 honda accord has been having this problem for a while and it is a real annoyance, if anyone has any suggestions please comment.

Accord EX - Identify this problem!!
This is my 97 Accord EX. It has the F22b1 motor, with about 158,000 miles on it. It runs great and gets decent mileage, except for one thing. It always takes 3 tries to start it. **SOMETIMES** it will fire right up on the first try, but what you see in this vid is what usually happens. NOBODY seems to know what is causing this. I've had numerous mechanics look at it, and they are all stumped. Here is a short list of parts I've replaced: 1. Spark plugs (NGK's) 2. Spark plug wires (NGK's) 3. Distributor cap 4. Distributor rotor 5. Ignition coil 6. Ignition control module 7. Ignition switch 8. Fuel filter 9. Air filter 10. Oxygen sensor 11. Main EFI Relay And even (to those who know what this is) a BG Induction Service, and a coolant flush and replacement. I regularly change the oil, and keep up with the preventative maintenance on this car. What the hell could this be? I'm running out of parts to replace chasing this elusive problem! PS: Check engine light was on for 2 things. Random/multiple cylinder misfire and rear oxygen sensor heater circuit malfunction.

How to Remove the Crank Shaft Pulley Bolt on a Honda Accord
I broke my 180lb torque wrench trying to get this off!! Here is how we got it off. As you see in the video we put a 6 foot pipe (from our car jack) on the end on our breaker bar. I bent that thing down to the FLOOR almost six times until we got that bolt off! I heated the bolt with a blow torch in between my attempts. Upon inspection it looks like the idiot that I bought the car from was super anal and put Lock Tight on the bolt!!!
