Cedarville Community Park in Cedarville, Ohio
This new to the scene Chevy AWD Astro Van was a fan favorite and didn't
disappoint the crowd. But unfortunately in the end, it wound up breaking a
hub I think...

How To Replace ICM (Ignition Control Module) on GMC Safari & Astro Van
Here is how to replace the ICM - ignition control module on a GMC Safar or
Chevrolet Astro van. The ICM can wear out over time and cause misfires.
Sometimes the ICM is fine, but it overheats because there is not enough
grease under it to help it dissipate the extra heat. This video shows you
how to replace the ICM ignition control module on your GMC Safari or Astro
van. It's an easy job to do. The new ICM costs around $50.

GMC Safari & Astro Van Review
This is a review of the GMC Safari or Chevrolet Astro Van. The Safari and
Astro vans are very similar General Motors vehicles, powered by the 4.3
liter V6 engine. These vans are big enough to hold a 4 x 8 sheet of
plywood, haul 8 passengers, or pull a 5,000 pound trailer. If you want to
buy a used GMC Safari Van or Chevrolet Astro Van, this video will answer
your questions. They are good vans. I love mine.
2000 chevy astro A/C problem fix
this is how to fix the a/c problem is this style of van. the symptoms of
this problem are the air will only blow out of the defrost and floor,

a cheeap fix, less than $10.
How To Clean The EGR Valve On A GMC Safari Vortec V6 Engine
Here is how to clean the EGR (Exhaust
gas recirculation) valve on a GMC Safari Vortec V6 engine. If your engine
started running really rough all of a sudden, your EGR valve may be stuck
open. It's easy to remove and clean up. It is a good idea to install an
EGR valve gasket with a filter in it to prevent future carbon buildup.
Here is a link to a video I made showing the gasket:
2003 Chevrolet Astro Van Start Up, Quick Tour, & Rev - 139K
2003 Chevrolet Astro Van
This has a 4.3L V6 making only 190 HP while paired to a 4 Speed auto.
Always saw this as the biggest POS out there. Terrible Interior quality,
Terrible Ride, Horrible leg & foot rom for the Front Passenger & driver,
the rear mount A/C is in a terrible position, HORRIBLE MPG's as its not so
easy for the underpowered 4.3L V6 to pull around this rolling around this
The van still carries over 1980's engineering and has looked overall the
same since 1985............. And Most importantly they have one of the
worst Crash Test rating when it comes to offset test. The Body just buckles
& the drivers body is pressed onto the dash & steering wheel which mean
These vans do offer AWD but its a version of this van that is quite avoided
as the transfer case in these has proven problematic when they have high
mileage. This van was also offered as the GMC Safari.
